Another Frame

December 16, 2010

Hi Everyone,

I’m running late for work so I can’t go into the supplies used in this frame right now, but I’ll come back tonight and update it with the details…
This frame is for my Mother-in-law to give as a gift. I had made her one to go with Ethan’s school picture and I told her I would make one for her to give a friend as a gift….

Enjoy your day…

Frame

December 14, 2010

Hi Everyone,
I’m a little late posting my Tuesday project. Better late than never right? Here’s a frame I made for Ethan’s 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. K.

The Green polka dot pattern paper was a very bright BoBunny paper. I white washed it with some acrylic paint and water. Love the tone down look….I inked the edges with vintage photo distress ink.
The frame overall measures 9 in. x 7 in. and holds a 4 in. x 6 in. picture. I picked up a couple of these frames from Michaels…this one has a more angled picture area and the others are straight up and down. I didn’t think I would like the angled frame but I love it. I think a trip back to M’s to get more might be in order….

The satin ribbon is just a wide piece I had in my stash. I used some Eline Prima Pearl bling and those beautiful flowers are petals from IamRoses.com. I sprayed the flowers with Marshmallow Glimmer mist and added some mini roses (also from iamroses). Stuck behind the flowers are some small skeleton leaves (yep Iamroses) and a beaded stick pin, you probably can’t see the pin in the picture..

Well I have two more frames to work on as gifts and I’m done with those. Hope your having a great week. Maybe I’ll actually get around to those Christmas cards tonight…

What a fantastic weekend. The weather was absolutely beautiful….Saturday we watched one of our nieces play soccer and then did a little halloween custom shopping. Ethan decided to be a ninja this year….

Today’s my Design Team project for BlueMoonScrapping. I used the 7 Gypsy receipt holder, I think this is gonna look great in my kitchen with pictures or notes (or receipts). I tried not to really glue anything down to the tray since I’m thinking I can certainly change out the papers for holidays. I hope you like it…

Happy Friday

February 5, 2010

Hi All,

Well I’m finally done with the basket for my Aunt’s church. I really love how it came out and I hope it does good at the auction.

I included in the basket a set of the “Home” decor letters that I made a few weeks ago. I had fun making another set of these (Click HERE to see picture). Also in the basket is the Family mini that I showed you a few days ago as well as a set of notecards.

You can kinda see the notecards in the picture below…
Hope you all have a great Friday and weekend.
Hugs,

Wednesday Update

June 3, 2009

So last night I was waiting for stuff to download on my computer and starting looking at some of the images on the Home Decor Solutions Cricut Cartridge and I fell in love with the butterfly.
I had to hurry up and make a card with it. Love Love Love it…..

I used Paper Trey Ink New Leaf & True Black Cardstock, the pattern paper is from BoBunny (Abby Road Vine), Ribbon is also Paper Trey Ink, and the scallop is EK Success-Scallop Diamond punch.

Have a great Wednesday and as always…

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
