Birthday Balloons


Today is my darling husband’s birthday. Happy Birthday Honey! I Love You!!!!

Today’s card is made using very vanilla Stampin’ Up! cardstock for the base of the card, I then used three different patterns from K&Co’s paper pack Wild Raspberry. I also used the Effervescence punch by Fiskars to punch out the scallop edge. I used my sewing machine to sew the zigzap pattern and added some dark chocolate PTI satin ribbon. The stamp with the button balloons is a from Paper Trey Ink’s new stamp set for the month of July called Everyday Button Bits. Oh-La-LA that is a great stamp set. Love It!

Sunday Update and a video

Happy Sunday,

Did everyone have a good 4th? I had a simple day at home with my boys (that’s my hubby and son). The weather was beautiful yesterday and looks like it will be again today.

Here’s a video on a card I made using the new Simply Sweet Cricut Cartridge.

Hi All,
Really crazy week this past week. Tonight I have my card class and haven’t even decided what we are making. That isn’t like me.

Today’s video I was playing with these cute Maya Road Stamps that I got over at Two Peas and loved how the Polysparkle Ranger embossing power looked on them. Made it look like icing.

Birthday Card Video


It’s Tuesday, You know what that means…a new video.

Oh My…there is not sound on my video. I tried rendering the video again and the sound still does not work. I will work on it again today when I get home from work. So sorry!

Last week I posted that I got my first Paper Trey Ink order, so I couldn’t wait to try out some of the cardstock. I used my Cricut for this one and cut out a birthday present using the Celebrations Cartridge and then the coordinating bow and tag. The paper from PTI is New Leaf and Dark Chocolate. The satina ribbon is also from PTI. I used some Making memories pattern paper that I had around as well as the Swiss Cheese punch from EK Success to punch the border.

I pulled out the Zooboloo Cricut Cartridge and put it to good use. I love this card

Supplies: Zooboloo Cricut Cartridge, K&Co. pattern paper, satin ribbon, stitching, and some Colorbox Queue ink for the edges of the elephant and giraffe.

Hi All,
I’m not sure I’m totally sold on today’s card. It’s kinda growing on me.

I have to say I’m not happy with the edge I used. It’s one of the new EK Success punches and it just doesn’t punch nice. I had to trim a lot of the ends to make it look crisp.

Very Vanilla and Baja Breeze Cardstock, DSP is from Walk in the Park (mini catalog), Cupcake Stamp (Wagon full of fun-Mini Catalog); sentiment (On your birthday stamp set), Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and Baja Breeze ribbon.
