Cricut Celebrations

August 24, 2009

I think my computer is not happy with me. Last night we tried re-installing my video editing software that are acting wonky. Now my photo editing software has decided it doesn’t want to play anymore either. This morning I went to edit this photo and add my stamp at the bottom and it shut down on my 3 times. I’ve never had a problem with Photoshop before and we know the problem with my video software. Ugh….

Anyway…

This is for my sweet darling niece who is turning 16 this week. It’s so hard to believe that she is growing up, I still think of her as the little flower girl in my wedding. I’m so lucky to have this darling girl working with me at the library. She’s a joy.

I used Design Studio to weld together 2 cupcakes from the Cricut Celebrations cartridge. If you do this remember to flip one image, so when you fold the card all the ends match. Then I resized them to make the actual cupcake. I ran the bottom of the cupcake through my Fiskars crimper and then used UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamal) to give it some more character. The paper is from the DCWV Nana’s Nursery Baby Boy paper pack. I’ve had this pack for a while and never used it.

Here’s a cupcake card I made last week using Wildcard. Check it out here. I think I’m going through a little bit of a cupcake phase.

Birthday Card Video

April 28, 2009

It’s Tuesday, You know what that means…a new video.

Oh My…there is not sound on my video. I tried rendering the video again and the sound still does not work. I will work on it again today when I get home from work. So sorry!

Last week I posted that I got my first Paper Trey Ink order, so I couldn’t wait to try out some of the cardstock. I used my Cricut for this one and cut out a birthday present using the Celebrations Cartridge and then the coordinating bow and tag. The paper from PTI is New Leaf and Dark Chocolate. The satina ribbon is also from PTI. I used some Making memories pattern paper that I had around as well as the Swiss Cheese punch from EK Success to punch the border.

Hope you enjoy and here’s today’s video…

Have a great day.

Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderf Hello everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful start to the New Year! I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
