Matchbox…

April 9, 2009

Thursday is supposed to be a beautiful day. Sunny and 60 debgrees. I wish I wasn’t working today.

I just love the Matchbox die that is in the mini catalog. It is so much fun to work with. You can use solid cardstock, designer paper, clear sheets and the matching stamp set is great too. This one is made using Tangerine Tango Designer paper, pretty in pink ribbon and cardstock, and I also used the Lovely Labels stamp set.

I really need to spend some time cleaning my office. It is a mess. I’ve got punches, paper, ink pads everywhere. I’m also working on updating my SU! catalog to reflect the stamp sets I own. That’s a job. Hope you all have a great day.

A Cute Little Box

March 31, 2009

Good day all,
Only one more day of Sale-a-bration left. Tomorrow starts the new Mini Catalog. There are some great new items coming up.

Isn’t this box cute?
I made it using the WildCard Cartridge from Cricut. I love how it came out.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Wild Card Cricut Cartridge, Pink Pirouette Cardstock, Pink Pirouette Ink Pad, Brown Satin Ribbon, Chocolate Chip Cardstock to use with the scallop circle punch, 1-3/8 and 1-1/4 circle punch. A piece of whisper white cardstock, the Priceless stamp set and the new transparencies that will be in tomorrow’s catalog.

Have a great day!

Easter Basket

March 30, 2009

Good Monday all,
Kind of a blah morning. Not a good way to start the work week.

I used the 2-4-6-8 box method on this Easter Basket.
It’s it cute?

You’ll need the following supplies for today’s projects

Pink Pirouette Cardstock and ink pad. Old Olive Cardstock, Corduroy Button brads, 1-1/4 circle punch, 1-3/8 circle punch, scallop circle punch, sweet stems stamp set, crop-o-dile (or something to punch holes for the brads) and the scallop edge punch.

Don’t forget you only have 2 more days left to place your sale-a-bration orders.

Heres a video on how to assemble today’s project:

Have a great Monday!

Magazine Holder

March 25, 2009

Hi Everyone,
I found the instructions for this cute little magazine holder here. Check it out.

The instruction on YT are wrong. The measurements for the center lines should be 2 3/4 and not 3 1/4. It took me forever to figure this out and ended up finding she was using someones instructions. I went with the 3 1/4 score line and made a few modifications. I really like how it came out.

Have a great Wednesday.

Another Matchbox

March 23, 2009

Well it’s Monday again, man does the weekend fly. I really wish it would slow down.

Here’s today’s project using the matchbox die that is coming soon.

I just got Sweet Always designer paper and couldn’t wait to try it out.

I used the matchbox die, Sweet Always DSP, Pink Pirouette Cardstock, Whisper White Satin Ribbon, Regal Rose Ink and Cardstock, Matchbox Messages Stamp set, and a piece of transparency paper for the outside of the box. (note because the transparency paper that I use is to thick I had to do the score lines by hand).

Have a great Monday.

I love this little box. I used the Sizzix box #2 die. How cute is it?

One of the first sets of paper I purchased from SU was the Bella Rose paper. I felt a little need to use if yesterday and made 2 of these boxes. They’ll be handy for a teachers gift with some treats inside.

If you would like to purchase any of the products I use please visit my on-line store Here.

You quack me up!

February 25, 2009

I just love this little duckie. I’ve been busy getting ready for our son’s 7th Birthday. We have a class party tonight for one of his friends, a mini family party for my son tomorrow night, and a big family party Friday night. He so excited he was up at 6am this morning.

A new video should be up either later today or tomorrow.
I’m off to work. Have a great day.
Happy Crafting!

Oh Boy!

February 12, 2009

Well yesterday I posted about how I love my new Flip Mino HD. Guess What? it’s going back. My first video which is on You Tube but not on my blog. I hate the quality. I always include at the beginning of my videos a picture of my finished project and you can see how nice and red the color of the pattern paper is. Once the video starts the color are faded. I worked all night last night trying to make the Flip work and the colors are just too washed out. I tried.

It might be a few days until I post another video. I have another camcorder in mind and will see if I can get it locally. If so another video should be up before the end of the weekend. If I have to order online it might be a little while.

Well anyway here is today’s project and as always you can order 24/7 on my website. (Posted on the left hand side). If you are interested in becoming a Demonstrator please feel free to contact me. I may have a little surprise for you if you do.

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
