Hi everyone…
Today we start the last page in our mini album and we’ll work on binding. I  had a lot of fun working on this mini and reading all your comments. Such sweet comments.

Later tonight I will do a post that will list all of the videos in one post and then tomorrow we’ll post for those that made a mini album or who worked on the 12 month scrapbook challenge for March to link their projects…Maybe we’ll even have a little giveaway too…

Now on to the last video in the series….

Have a great Monday
Hugs and happy crafting,

Mini Album w/your Cricut #4

March 18, 2011

Hi Everyone,
So is everyone caught up on their mini album so far?

Before we get started…I thought I would share something really cool…Two of my fabulous followers who went on over to Cricut for Beginners the other day when I posted about their Birthday Bash Cartridge giveaway also won cartridges from me 🙂 courtesy of Custom Crops. Be sure to check out Cricut for Beginners website. Lots of great info and a wonderful source for all you new Cricut owners.

Cricut for Beginners

Congrats to Penny and Jana….I hope you enjoy the Birthday Bash cartridge as much as I do….You can find the post with the winners HERE…

So are you ready for the next page to our mini album…

OK I had a small problem with the pictures. I lost them….Have no clue where they went. I uploaded them, used them at the end of the video and they disappeared. Very strange…

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend….
Hugs and happy crafting

Mini Album w/your Cricut Series-Episode #1

March 14, 2011

Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a great weekend.  I was able to spend some time in my room Sunday afternoon and worked on the mini. I’m loving how it’s coming out so far. I still have a page to work on and binding, but I’ll get that done during the week. I can’t believe how much I got done yesterday in a short amount of time. It just came together. I have lots of video editing to do 🙂

I hope you all enjoy the series. Today we will be working on cutting, covering and binding our mini album.

If you missed the video on Friday that went over some of supplies click HERE.  Tomorrow we’ll be working the first pages…

Have a great day…I hope tonight I’ll make up some sleep, daylight savings time got me good this year…

Life’s A Party #4

February 18, 2011

Hi Everyone,
Today we are finishing up the Life’s A Party Series. I know, I know it went by fast, but I’m happy to report I have 90% of the supplies I need made for Ethan’s party done. I still can’t believe he will be 9 next weekend.

I had a lot of requests as to what the images where under the phrase section on the first few pages of the manual. They are table decorations, but I think you really need to use a heavy cardstock so they stand. You’ll see at the end of this video what I mean. Speaking of video….This is a really short short short video.

So what do we all have planned this long weekend? Today we are going to enjoy 60 degree weather. Maybe some of these ice mounds will start to melt :0)
Have a great day and a fabulous weekend.

Life’s a Party Episode #3

February 16, 2011

Happy Wednesday,

WOW this week is just zooming by.

We’re working on our 3rd video for the Life’s a Party cartridge and we’ll be making the really cool map on page 44 of the manual. I had some technical difficulties when I was filming the first 1/2 of the video and it wasn’t until I edited the video late last night that I notice what I did….Yep I was totally off screen, but only at first…lol

So here is our video for today. I think the map is going to make an awesome door hanging for Ethan’s party and I can then use it later in a layout. I’m thinking about adding ETHAN’S on a separate piece of  decorated chipboard and then hanging the map off that to put on the door. This was it would say Ethan’s Pirate Party…ARRR matey ye know what I mean...lol I couldn’t resist….

The Series:
Video #1
Video #2

I should have one more video for this series at the end of the week. Have a great day…

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
