Update on my Copic image….

June 8, 2010

Hi all,

The other day I posted a picture of a downloaded stamp that I purchased from The Greeting Farm . I had a great time playing with my Copics. (click here to see my post and the maker #’s I used)….
Here are a few pictures of a card that I made using the image I colored.
The pattern paper is from K&Co (you know how I love K&CO) sorry I don’t remember what collection…I used the Label 3 Nestabilities for the frame and a Prima flower for a little accent on on my card. The “Thank You” sentiment is from MyPinkStampers newest stamp collection…I used my Stampin’ Up word window punch with the modern label punch on the sentiment….
Friday is my birthday and like last year I would like to do a little giveaway to celebrate. It may not necessarily be on Friday, since I’m swamped at work this week and don’t know if I’ll get out to purchase my giveaway…so stay tuned…
Hope you are having a great day….
Hugs,

Another Thank You Card

March 9, 2010

Have you ever just felt like not using your Cricut? Yes I said it…..I just wasn’t feeling it this past weekend….

Anyway here is a card that I did make…

Supplies: Kraft Cardstock (Paper Trey Ink), Berry Sorbet Satin Ribbon (Paper Trey Ink), Thank You Rub-on (Stampin’ Up!), Butterfly  Punch (Martha Stewart), Scallop Punch (Fiskars), Nook and Pantry Pattern Paper (Basic Grey), Corner Rounder (Corner Chomper)

Guess what….I’m re-doing my craft room. Yep the week before Easter weekend Scott and I are going to dismantle the whole room. There will be nothing left in my space. Not even my computer. GASP! (thank goodness I have my laptop). I’m so excited! I’ve been wanting to re-do my room for a very long time. I’ve tried just moving things around, but it’s just not the same. I’ll post pictures of the progress…Do I really have to wait 3 more weeks?

Have a great Tuesday.

Don’t forget LOST is on tonight. LOL I’m totally addicted to that show.

Hey Guess What….

April 3, 2009

It’s Friday. Yeah!!!

I don’t think I’ll be posting tomorrow. Tonight I’m going to my brothers and helping him paint, he’s been remodeling his house so he needs help painting everything from the top down. Ugh. Saturday my mom and I are heading to Allentown, Pa to visit the Heirloom Pro stamp expo. I can’t wait. Sunday I’ll post an update with maybe a picture of all my goodies I picked up at the expo.

Today’s card is really simple. I didn’t even add ribbon gasp. I used whisper white cardstock, walk in the park designer paper (mini catalog), oval all stamp set (mini catalog), large oval punch, and the new scallop oval punch (mini catalog).

Have a great weekend.

Check out the oval punch! Coming April1

March 12, 2009

So what’s everyone doing tonight? I’m messing around in the my room trying to decide what my next video is gonna be. If you have anything you would like to see, or a technique you would like me to film. Please comment below.

Anyone reading any good books? I’m reading Joanne Fluke’s book Cream Puff Murder. If you haven’t read her books they are great. The main character owns a cookie shop and throughout the books she has recipes. My mom has made 1 or 2 and they are great.

About today’s card:
So I know what your thinking. Where did she get the great scallop oval from? Well it coming up in the Mini Catalog April 1st and I couldn’t wait to show you. You’ll also find an oval stamp set to go with this scallop oval punch. There are such great things to come April 1st. I can’t wait for you to see it.

Don’t forget time is running out. March 31st ends Sale-a-bration and the 15% off demonstrator sign ups. If you are interested in signing up as a demonstrator either as a business or as a hobbiest, please feel free to contact me at chris416ward@comcast.net and I’ll answer any questions you have and would be happy to sign you up!

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
