Cricut Country Life

I was looking through my Gypsy deciding what Cartridge to play with for today’s video and couldn’t help but to play with the County Life Cartridge again.

My MIL’s birthday is coming up and she loves to cook and bake so I thought this apron would be perfect for her. Yes I know…I keep making birthday cards for family. I have 8 birthday’s in a months time. They start on Aug 20th with my dad and sister and end on Sept 21st with my older brother. Friday is my niece, Tuesday is my mom and then I have a break for 9 days. It’s like a birthday marathon around here.

Anyway back to today’s card…

Fabulous Friday with a video

Hi Everyone….
How about a fabulous Friday project? I finished organizing my room and that has made me feel so much better. I can see my work area again and I have room to move….The only thing left to do is ribbon. I need to clear out an entire drawer of ribbon and get them organized. Right now I can’t even close the drawer….

Here is today’s video using the Cricut Lite Bloom cartridge. I used my Gypsy to weld the image together and make a shape card. I did a video before on how to weld you can check that out here….

OK Who Took It? and a video

OK Who took my mojo? Really It’s missing in action…..

My crafting mojo might be temporarily misplaced, but I found my cleaning mojo. Yesterday when I got home from work, I totally ripped everything out of my craftroom closet and I do mean everything. I even took out the little shelves that where attached to the wall.
I wonder why I kept so much unusable junk in there?

Here’s what it looked like after I emptied it. The shelves on the right are now out and the case on the left is gone. Hanging on the wall is one of two clear shoe bag organizer filled with punches.

What I did was moved all of my Jetmax cubes into the closet and only kept out the paper cubes. I still have lots of organizing and sorting to do. Had a lot of you ask to post pic’s of my Ikea desk.  I’ll share it all when I’m done.

Thanks everyone who suggested to turn my paper storage cubes sideways. It worked perfectly.

I’m calling this one
“Tim Holtz meets Mickey and Friends”

Today’s card I winged. I knew I was making a card for my Dad and that I wanted to use a car. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do and ended up making a 30 minutes long video at 10pm last night (evidence in my video. lol). There was lots of talking to myself and tossing papers around my room.  Eventually I made a card that I’m kinda happy with….

Layout~Whimsical Wednesday

Happy Wednesday….
WOW! You all had some great 12×12 cardstock storage ideas for me yesterday. I decided before I try anything new that I’m going to turn my cubes sideways and have my cardstock standing up. However some of my paper slots are kinda empty…..guess I need to go shopping…lol. Thanks everyone, I love hearing your ideas and tips too….

Now for today’s project. This is one page to a double page layout that I’m working on. I have to order some more of Basic Grey’s Oliver paper. I only ordered one of the laser cut sheets and the 6×6 pad with some of the embellies, so I just need another 12×12 sheet for the other page…”Birthday Blow-Out” was cut using the Simply Sweet Cricut Cartridge……

I’m liking the Cheerful Season…not sure yet on the Reminisce Accent…
And…ACMoore has their cartridges on sale this week. It includes “Country Life” “Winter Frolic” “Happy Hauntings” and “Rock Princess”. I’m not sure about “Simply Charmed” it doesn’t mention it in the ad. I’m crossing my fingers that is included 🙂
