July 11, 2011

Hi Everyone,
It’s Monday, you know what that means. Time for another CWC video. Today’s card was inspired by our trips to the lake…OK not really, but I was thinking of doing a sail boat card with Life’s A Beach and then started browsing through my other cartridges and came across this strawberry on County Life…It looked yummy….

Country Life Cartridge Series #3

April 27, 2011

Hi All,
Today is number three in the series. I always do a video with the Gypsy…so here’s your card for today…

This one was so much fun to make. I’m thinking this will be going to Ethan’s teacher for the end of the school year (can’t believe that’s coming up soon).

So, do you think it will come today? The Cricut 2? I don’t know, it shipped last night and said delivery is by 3pm today. I’m not convinced it’s coming today since at 5:30 this morning it had just departed Kentucky and it needs to come all the way here to Pa. It still says its coming today, but I don’t think so…

My plan was to film video #4 tonight. I want to use the banner cut, but I’m not sure what I want to do with it yet. If Cricut 2 comes though I might be distracted. So I may or may not have a video for tomorrow…

Have a great Wednesday.

Country Life Cartridge Series #2

April 26, 2011

Happy Tuesday,
I have to warn you before you even start reading…I was up until after 1:30 this morning and I had to get up for work this morning at 5:30. I get up early to get myself in gear, my post ready for the day and before you know it, its time to get Ethan up and get him going for the day…I just hope what I write below makes sense 🙂 I will be a walking zombie today…OK now on to the next video in the series….

Today I thought I would show you how to make a shaped card. We’re not using our Gypsy’s or Design Studio to make this card….

Lots of you asked about the sticky tool I used yesterday to pick up the small pieces. That is my scrapping best friend when it comes to those small Cricut pieces. It’s called a QuicStik by QuicKutz. Besides ordering right from QuicKutz, I know you can buy it at Hobby Lobby and you can also find it on Amazon. If you google search it you’ll find a few other online stores that carry it as well.

Oh and did I mention…I ordered my Cricut Expression 2 last night. It’s a great deal with easy pay and free shipping. I can’t wait…Some of you asked if I was keeping my regular Expression and yes I am…I want to keep it for doing the series videos…I will however be adding a video segment to the series using the Cricut 2…Maybe that will be video #5 this week since it should be here tomorrow (oh yes I paid the extra shipping…lol)

Well have a great day…I will be the girl at the library with the toothpicks holding her eyes open today 🙂
Have a great Tuesday and enjoy the day

Cricut Country Life

August 26, 2010

I was looking through my Gypsy deciding what Cartridge to play with for today’s video and couldn’t help but to play with the County Life Cartridge again.

My MIL’s birthday is coming up and she loves to cook and bake so I thought this apron would be perfect for her. Yes I know…I keep making birthday cards for family. I have 8 birthday’s in a months time. They start on Aug 20th with my dad and sister and end on Sept 21st with my older brother. Friday is my niece, Tuesday is my mom and then I have a break for 9 days. It’s like a birthday marathon around here.

Anyway back to today’s card…

supplies: Cricut Expression, Cricut Country Life Cartridge, Cricut Gypsy, Fly A Kite (October Afternoon), Cream Cardstock, Hawaiian Breeze and Simply Chartreuse Cardstock (Paper Trey Ink), Ribbon (Hobby Lobby), Family and Friends Stamp Set (My Pink Stamper).

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
