July 30, 2010

Hi All…..
It’s time for a FABULOUS FRIDAY!!!! So last night I was answering some emails and the one big question everyone had was…..How did you make that template that you used in yesterday’s video. So last night I sat down and did a quick video on how to make a template using the Cricut Gypsy….

I hope this helps and stay tuned for more Gypsy Tips….

Hope you have a fabulous Friday and an even more spectacular weekend….
Hugs

Cricut Lite Live Simply~Thursday Expressions

July 29, 2010

OK I know, I know….It’s been too too too long since I’ve done a Cricut video….I needed a little break, but I’m back and ready to create (or Cricut).

I really love using pattern paper when I’m working with the Cricut, it gives it the little extra pop. My secret is…I try to pick papers from the same paper collections. For the most part they pretty much already coordinate and make picking pattern paper so much easier.

I charged up my Gypsy and…

I was playing with my Gypsy over the weekend. Finally updated it with the new content library to see the Cricut Lite carts. I did finally pick up two of the new cartridges, I will play with them soon.

Anyway I was looking through my cartridges on the Gypsy and decided I wanted some watermelon. No really I did…So I made this card and then cut myself up some watermelon.

Cindy Lo Birdhouse card

June 27, 2010

Happy Sunday,
I hope you are all having a great weekend. Yesterday I decided to sit and play with my Cindy Lo Cricut Cartridge. I’ve had it for a while now and never played with it.

I used my Gypsy to layout the design for this card. I love my Gypsy, even more now that they have the hide contour feature….I’m thinking I might ever go ahead and make a birdhouse shaped card too.

Enjoy today’s video:

May 27, 2010

Finally…I had some problems with today’s video…Let’s just say I found a reason to use my Pick Card…I was in a pickle last night and this morning with today’s video…First I accidentally deleted the video and had to redo the whole thing and then early this morning when I uploaded it to YouTube I discovered I made some mistakes in editing…

We’re off to Track and Field today at Ethan’s school. It’s gonna be 90 degrees…YIKES lots of water and sunblock….
Here we go….

Enjoy…..

Just Because Cards Episode #5: Gumdrop Card

May 18, 2010

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Today we are working on card #5. I pulled out a pad of DCWV paper for today’s card. It’s from the Farmer’s Market collection and I like how it came out. I wasn’t certain when I was looking at it in the manual, but once I choose my pattern paper, it came together. Hope you like it….
Here is today’s video….
Also I just had to share this picture from Ann W. She such a sweetheart. Ann doesn’t have a blog, but wanted to share her Rooster Card with me. So I asked if she wouldn’t mind if I posted her project on today’s post. I think she did a fantastic job. She used the Classic K (K&Co) paper collection for her rooster card.
Here’s Ann’s Card
Have a great Tuesday…
Don’t forget to share your projects below. Look I actually remembered today:)

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
