Shimmers Paint

April 27, 2010

Happy Tuesday….

A long time ago I bought stuff to make my own shimmers paint, but never did it. Well last night I thought, hey lets make some….

The only thing you need is some Metallic Folk Art Acrylic Pearl White paint and reinkers. How easy….and fun…I did try to use my alcohol inkers, but the color kinda globbed in the paint. You don’t really notice it until you paint….

So here’s a short short short video on how to make your own shimmers paint…Enjoy

Blog update…If you notice up the top I had two new links added. One for Video Series and the other Categories. Videos Series is where you can find all the series I’ve done so far and categories is coming soon. I also updated the FAQ page with frequently asked questions 🙂 Hope you all have a great day.

Chipboard Letter~Video

July 12, 2009

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. We’re having a yard sale next weekend, so I spent the last 2 days cleaning out closets and getting things ready.

I ran to Big Lots yesterday looking for some of those nice fabric closet organizers and ended up buying $75 worth of craft supplies. I use the alcohol free baby wipes for cleaning my stamps, they had them for $1. Then I found CD cases for storing my unmounted and clear stamps $3 for a package of 10 (I picked up 10 of those) plus I got bare Thicker stickers for $2.00 each.

I was messing around with the Thickers today and thought I would do a video on how to ink and emboss them.
Enjoy!

Happy Crafting!

Ribbon Bow~Video

June 1, 2009

It’s Monday,
I have so much ribbon I don’t know what to do with it all. So I was messing around this weekend and look what I made. I love how it came out.

I used some satin ribbon that I had around to make this bow, as well as a prima from my prima drawer and a button. The measurements for the ribbon are 4-5in and 4-6in pieces of ribbon.

Happy Crafting,
Christina

Today’s video is how to make shrinky dinks work with rubber stamping . These cute little charms can be added to your cards or scrapbook pages.

I found shrink film at AcMoore and thought why not. Lot’s of fun.

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
