Our trip to the pumpkin patch

October 19, 2009

The weatherman said it would rain all weekend. Yesterday turned out to be a beautiful day, so we headed to the pumpkin patch. What a fun time, muddy but fun. We tried to do the corn maze, but just couldn’t do it because of the mud. At least we tried. They have this thing called a pumpkin sling. It’s so fun, you toss a tiny pumpkin into this huge sling shot and pull it back as far as you can. You have to try and aim for a barrel or a metal cow. Funny!
Here are a few pictures of my guys. Notice I’m never in the pic’s I’m always taking them.

Have a great week.

Wild Card Video Series #10-

September 9, 2009

Hi All,
Here is #10 in the series. I’m still learning about the Mac and I haven’t quite mastered getting photo’s uploaded. I’ll mess with it more this weekend, but for now I’m using my laptop for photo’s.

Today’s video is the leaf card and I love how this one came out. I used Georgia Pacific white cardstock for the envelope. Bazzil green CS for the base, Martha Stewart fall paper from last year, and some stitched ribbon.
Enjoy!

Fall Card

September 8, 2009

Good Day All,

I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend. We went to the Italian Festival that is held here every Labor Day Weekend. We had so much fun. Other than that we stayed home and relaxed this weekend. I’m still learning about me new Mac, but it’s so much fun. I hope to get another Wild Card video done tonight. However for some reason last night I decided my craftroom need to be reorganized and now everything is all over the place. Why didn’t I decide to do that on Saturday? anyway…
For today’s card, I used Stampin’ Up! black cardstock for the base, and the pattern paper is from My Mind Eye, Night Light collection. I used a Cuttlebug pumpkin folder, as well as some green ribbon from The Paper Studio. Another added touch is my dear friend TeriB sent me some cork sheets. I used my Fiskar scallop edge punch on the cork and it cut like butter. Have a good week.

Cricut Wild Card-Video

August 18, 2009

Good evening,
Here’s a quick video on the pumpkin card from Cricut’s Wild Card cartridge. I cut this card on the blackout feature because I wasn’t too excited about the face on the pumpkin.

Enjoy!

Happy Crafting!

Treat Bags

October 13, 2008

Here are 2 treat bags that I’m working on. The blessing bag is for my nieces and nephews. You can fit a fun size candy bar in it with a few dollars.

The larger bag is for my son’s 1st grade class. I made the topper from the Fabulous Finds Cartridge from Cricut. The stamp is the Stampin’ Up’s “Batty for You” stamp set (item # 109363). I love these little guys.

Happy Fall.

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
