The weatherman said it would rain all weekend. Yesterday turned out to be a beautiful day, so we headed to the pumpkin patch. What a fun time, muddy but fun. We tried to do the corn maze, but just couldn’t do it because of the mud. At least we tried. They have this thing called a pumpkin sling. It’s so fun, you toss a tiny pumpkin into this huge sling shot and pull it back as far as you can. You have to try and aim for a barrel or a metal cow. Funny!

Christina,Your ideas are great…even without showing us how to make a card. Need to calendar corn maze trip. Never tried the pumpkin sling…it looks like it might be fun. Thank you for "outing" idea.

Sounds like so much fun. We took a vacation up north the week before Halloween one year just so that our teenagers could go to a haunted house and pumpkin farm, corn maze, hay ride and all that stuff. We had a blast. No one does anything like that here in Florida where we live 🙁
