Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend 🙂
Let’s get started with the Country Life Cartridge Series. I have planned four videos for this series, but if I have time during the week to make a 5th video I will.
Today we are going over the manual and then we’ll hop right into making our first card….
So here we go…
See you back here tomorrow for Episode # 2
Hopefully I’ll be able to get up on time for work tomorrow, since I’ll be staying up till’ midnight to order my Cricut Expression 2. I am so excited about the CE2. I knew right off the bat that I had to have it..Can’t wait. I even already cleared a spot next to my Expression for my new machine…
Great card Christina.. I have my space all cleared out for the E2 also only this will be my first cricut… I'm so excited…Have a great dayJudy
Hi Christina, I really enjoyed your video. I was sitting her eat my toast bread and coffee. LoL Love the Vido. Cant wait to see more. You did a great job. Now i really want the Country Life Cartridge. Thanks So Much
I will be up at midnight waiting to order mine too! I can not wait!! great video Christina!! Hugs! Dina
Loved your video and Mary Jane. Just one quick question, what is the tool that you are using to pick up the small pieces that you had cut? Thanks
I'm excited to see the E2 also…will you keep your original Expression? Thanks for doing this video…going to watch it now!
I always enjoy your videos, you are the best. May I ask, what is so special about the E2? The only advantage I can see is the ability to use the Imagine carts. What am I missing?
What a fun cart……now I have to go and get it too….thanks ….hehehe I do have a question???Why is my new blade eating my paper? I also got a new mat….can't figure it out…..
Love the card Christina! I will have to start putting that cart to use! I think I may have it! LOL it's sad when you don't even know what carts you have! EEk! I also have a question, I have that same quick Kutz pickup tool but I hate using mine because it leaves some of that sticky residue on the surfaces I pick up. Does yours do that? Does that mean the tack is too old? What kind of tack do you use to refill it? I hear there is some no name stuff you can buy from the store…can you advise on this? Thanks!
Very cute. I love how you changed your mind on what you were doing and made it work. I do that all the time. I have one plan and sometimes the final card is so different from my plan it is funny.Have a great day and thanks again for taking the time to make these videos. Chris
Love the video, great card. Now I need to get that cartidge…thanks for sharing. looking forward to the rest of this series.
Hi Christina!!! I love this card…what a cute cut…I love how you changed your mind and adapted…I think I would have just thrown away and started over…Thanks for helping me think “out of the box” Also…I love my Quick Cutz poker picker upper thingy…did you know that the back side come apart so you have two parts to work with? I had mine of over 10 years and did not know that…Thought I would mention it.Blessings,Valerie Martin
Great video, love the card, is so cute. What type of glue did you used for the small pieces?
That is a really cute card! Can't wait to see what the rest of this week brings. I love, love, love your series videos
Thank you for choosing this cart as I had a block and bought it to make cards and layouts for my country cousin. Also, I would like to purchase the pick up tool and the distress tool you used, but where can it be purchased? Love the card! Thanks. Pat
Love the patterned paper you used. Mary Jane was a lot of little pieces though but you made it look easy to assemble with your special tool. What is it? ThanksBarb from Toronto, Canada
I really like the papers you chose for this card. I like the Mary Jane image as well. I'm so happy you are showcasing this series. I love this cartridge!
The card is absolutely cute. Love how easy you make things look.Kathlene
Oh I'm so glad you picked this cart. I've wanted to buy it for so long and keep waiting for it to be on sale. I love your choice of colors and that big MS punch. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
Great video tfs!
Oh,Christina…so happy to see this Country Life series. You make it all look so simple, while I still struggle and need all the help I can get. Really appreciate your time in teaching and giving us such wonderful inspiration. Hugs!
That is just a darling card! I love how you sped up the video when you were piecing! Can't wait for the next video!
Fun card. I think you have more patience (or courage) when it comes to all that piecing.I, too really want to know where you got the picker upper thingy. It seems so handy. If I saw it in stores, I didn't know what I was looking at. I did see one lady coat the end of a dry ball point pen with EK 2-way glue, let it dry, and used it to pick up her small pieces.THe glue dries repositionable.Staying up to get my E2 also!!! But I don't have to stay up that late since I am in the central zone.
Love this card! I too would like to know the tool you used to place the small pieces after you put down the glue. Thanks! Christina C. ccapps35@gmail.com
I have had this cartridge for awhile and haven't used it yet. Thanks for getting me excited about it!
Thank you for the tutorial!
Thanks Christina! Great video and card.
loved the card! I have this cart so I am ready to go.what tool were you using to get the tiny parts?
Great job on those small cuts. The card turned out very pretty. I noticed she is holding a small bunny at the end of the video. Cute.
What a delightful cartridge! So detailed. Love it Leoda
Thanks for the videos. I bought this cartridge on an impulse, but haven't used it yet. You have inspired me.
Christina, Thanks for the video, I am feeling inspired. What is that thing you were using to pick up the small pieces? I WANT THAT!Thanks again. Traci cricutjunkie@gmail.com

Great card. I am anxious to see your series, this is one cartridge I haven't decided on yet. Just not sure I would use it enough.
Very cute, thanks for working on this cart for us.
Super cute card. I am going to pull out my cartridge today and work on something. I love that cart and still have not used it. The image you used is super cute. Love it. Thanks for sharing. Your videos are the best. They are so detailed and easy to work off of.
Really cute card. I like it alot! I was hoping you would jump to the Imagine next not the E2. You can get an Imagine new off Ebay for well under $400. I got mine in Nov 2010 for $375 new. I was hoping for your tutorials on the Imagine! Boo hoo…maybe you will get one next time.
You seem to make things so easy. I loved the whole card. You are an inspiration to all of us.
Maryjane is so cute. Darling card. I didn't get to watch HSN. We had a big storm with tornado sirens and the power went off and was not back on till after 9 am Tuesday morning. I had to go to work without my morning coffee. I am not myself without my coffee.
