Updated to answer a few questions:
1. What paper did I use? Neenah Cardstock, it’s my favorite when working with markers like ProMarker and Copic.
2. Can you refill ProMarkers? I checked around and I don’t see that you can refill these markers.
3. How do I like them compared to Copic? To be honest these are right up there with Copic and the price is much less. $1.49 as compared to Copic at $3.95 for Sketch or $2.79 for Caio.
Hi All,
So a few weeks ago I was contact by Letraset, the company that makes ProMarkers to try them out. I’ve seen a video here and there of others using them and thought they looked pretty cool. They are really awesome. I love love love the fine point for coloring, I feel like I have more control over the marker.
Here’s a video on a stamped image I was working on…
Here is a card I made using the image I colored with the ProMarkers….
Here are a few places you can order ProMarkers:
In the US www.CarpeDiemeStore.com
In the UK they are available right from www.letraset.com
Thanks Christina,I have Copic markers and I don't let them dry well they dry really fast but if I let them dry I could use the same color. Do you have Copic are they alike. Can you refill the ProMarkers? Thanks,Linda
HI Christina, I also have copic markers but these Promarkers look great. Same question as Linda, can the ProMarkers be refilled, & can you use the Copic refill inks or not? Thanks so much. I love your videos & projects-learned alot. Rita J.
I like these markers. I will check out the website, Have a great dayred467atjunodotcom
Christina, great video tutorial. How do you like these compared to the Copic Markers? How do prices compare? Do you think you can get by with less markers for all the shading as compared to Copics?ThanksMarilynmjrick1224 at yahoo dot com
Great Tutorial. I was sold on the copic markers but these look like theyare just as great. Will have to check them out. Thanks
I love my ProMarkers. Couldn't find Copics out where I live so these are the next best thing! The only thing is they are not refillable, but the price is right and my ProMarkers I think, are a must have!!!
Thanks for the coloring tips! Other than coloring in coloring books, I'm not too talented in the shading area. Does your camera zoom in more? To see how the shading/drying works more closely? Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Christina! I noticed that Okie also got to try these out… and these markers sound more like they're up my ally in price! Copics I'm sure are wonderful but just to costly and knowning that these are right up there with them makes it a way better choice for me! I appreciate all the reviews about them… From you and Okie! :o)
Perfect video of a Christmas card, to help transition us from halloween; soon to be Christmas. =) I really liked the video; watching you colour the image in real time, without any fast forwarding. If I ever got a chance, I would love to try out the ProMarkers. Thanks for the video.-Samantha
These look great and the price is right, but 12-13 dollars shipping is terrible!!
They look like fun but I am on a self-imposed ban wagon!!! Gotta back off until after the holidays.
Thanks so much. Very nice.
I love Promarkers……they do color better for me…..and they blend awesome….I like them better than my copic….yes I said that out loud…..I didn't realize that I was suppose to let them dry before adding more color….SWEET!!!!Thank you for the tutorial…..
Nice coloring. Love the mouse.
I have some of the promarkers and I love them. Altho they cannot be refilled, they are still worth the difference in price.
