Hi All,
Here is an update on my room. Ethan and I went to Lowes last night and picked out the paint. When I told him I was going to paint my room green he decided he wanted to go shopping with me. His favorite color is green and I think he wanted to make sure I picked the right shade of green. LOL
You all know my favorite color is blue, but since I have blue carpet I didn’t want to paint the walls blue too. The color we picked is called Hazy Jade. It’s a really pretty shade of green. Can’t wait to start painting.
Here is what I got done last night…
I took out the black shelving and moved that into my sons room. He is thrilled because now he can display his Lego buildings and has places to put his Playmobil guys. He was so excited I even got him to dust the shelves.
I took down my Jetmax (or as my mom keeps calling them Inkjets or JetPacks) section and got the walls prepped for painting in these two sections.
I have to confess I have a love for the hammer and nails. Holy cow are there a lot of holes in my walls.
Here is what a picture of the section cleared…Isn’t that radiator pretty?
Can’t wait until tomorrow. Painting…..
You have quite a busy day ahead of you, I love painting!!

Boy you have been busy!! Can't wait to see it all done. But, I must admit, I'm jealous ;)If you want to cut down on the holes in the wall, try out the 3M picture hanging tabs. They work really well!Have fun painting!~KristinaH
Kristina…after I made a thousand holes and moved my room around a thousand times, I was strolling through Staples one day and saw the tabs. I thought DUH! I get them at Walmart. Much cheaper. Hugs, C
My new craft room is going to be green aswell. I've got to wait until August though as the house is not built yet:(Have fun.

Hope you have fun with creating a new work space! Can't wait to see it when it's complete.

have fun painting and putting back everything that you have in the room. I know you will need to have lots of patience, cause if you are a scrapaholic like me then you must have lots of stuff. Can't wait to see the finished product. anallanes@bellsouth.netMiami, FL

Well now you go and choose my favorite color to paint your walls. Can't wait to see what Hazy Jade looks like.
It is now almost 7:30pm and I'm just getting in my room. Had to take an emergency run to Target and get a green shirt for my son to wear tomorrow for dress down day at school. Of course I found this out at 5 o'clock tonight. So I figured while I was there I would take a look around and find some curtains for my room. Oh and did I mention Michael's is right next door. They have some great home decor on sale 50% off. So I picked up a few things for my room there too. OK Getting ready to unplug the computer. Thank goodness I have a laptop! Hugs all. I'll be back tomorrow with pictures of my empty room…Christina
You got me motivated and I had my son bring a tall bookcase up to my craft room. We moved just a couple things to make it fit and I worked on getting things onto it and some other supplies rearranged. Not finished, but made a big dent.
I love home improvement projects even simply painting a room. My husband, on the other hand, hates them!!! Our house is only 8 years old but that means it's just about time to start updating! LOL
LOLOL, so I was reading your post and scrollimg down as I read, when I saw the photo of those yellow walls,I thought”Well the lighting must be bad, that looks yellow to me!” Then I realized it was a 'before' pic! Maybe I need to go back to bed! LOL TFS
Good luck with your new craft room and putting it all back together again. You have inspired me not only with card and flower making but now with gettin my spring cleaning started. Thanks Alot!!!Oh by the way, I really look forward to your postings!! Wish I could help you paint (That's another obsession I have HAHA!!)
