Christmas with the Cricut-Layout

November 5, 2009

I can’t believe it’s Thursday already! Wow this week has gone by fast for my guest design spot over at Christmas with the Cricut.
Today we’re doing a layout. This is great, I have a head start on my layout for this coming Christmas. OK OK…I must confess, I’m many many many years behind on Christmas layouts.

I’m an 8in x 8in scrapbooker:0) I find myself overwhelmed with 12×12 pages and can never decide what to addd to my pages. So I started scraping 8×8 and found that is really my perfect scrap page size.

Today’s project features the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge. I cut the snowman at 4 in.’s and “Frosty” at 2in.’s. Head on over to Teri’s blog to check out her take on today’s layout!

Supplies: Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge, Pattern Paper by Basic Grey (Figgy Pudding); Cardstock: White, Scarlet Jewel, and Ocean Tide by Paper Trey Ink; Ribbon: Ocean Tide by Paper Trey Ink. Fiskars punch.

Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow for my fancy card project.

Another Mini Album-Video

September 28, 2009

It has been a crazy few days. My Flip HD is out for repairs 🙁 Luckily I have a back-up camcorder. I’ve got a crazy work schedule this week and I’m doing my first craft fair Saturday.

I may or may not be back this week with a video. It all depends on how much I can get done over the next few days for the craft fair. I have one more album to make and lots of little things that need to get done.
Here is a video of one of the albums I made for the fair. Pink, girlie colors are not me, so I found this to be a little hard to do, but I love how it came out.
Enjoy!!!!

Chipboard Letter~Video

July 12, 2009

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. We’re having a yard sale next weekend, so I spent the last 2 days cleaning out closets and getting things ready.

I ran to Big Lots yesterday looking for some of those nice fabric closet organizers and ended up buying $75 worth of craft supplies. I use the alcohol free baby wipes for cleaning my stamps, they had them for $1. Then I found CD cases for storing my unmounted and clear stamps $3 for a package of 10 (I picked up 10 of those) plus I got bare Thicker stickers for $2.00 each.

I was messing around with the Thickers today and thought I would do a video on how to ink and emboss them.
Enjoy!

Happy Crafting!

Sunday Update and a Video

May 17, 2009

Hi All,
Well I seem to be having technical problems with Adobe Premier. For some reason all of sudden it shuts down on me when I’m done adding narration to the video. Hubby says it’s not a hard drive problem and he may have to re-install AP. So until my darling husband can figure out why, I’m editing my videos on Windows Movie Maker. I have not figured out how to save my videos and get the best quality on You Tube. For some reason they always turn out grainy and very poor. I apologize.

Here’s a scrap page I did for my son’s album.
Enjoy

Happy Crafting,
Christina

My Bouncy Baby Boy

May 5, 2009

Saturday’s NSD (National Scrapbook Day) over on Robyn’s blog was so much fun. It’s been ages since I’ve completed a scrapbook page and this really got me inspired again.

This is our son who is now 7 and in 1st grade. I can’t believe how time flies.

I used SU’s Certainly Celery Cardstock for the base, Certainly Celery Designer Paper, Chocolate Chip 1in Grosgrain ribbon, and then cut out the three shapes using New Arival Cricut Cartridge.

Thanks for stopping by

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
