Masking Technique with Lindy Stamp Gang

November 17, 2010

Hi Everyone,
I was playing around this past weekend and decided to finally try making my own mask (aka stencil) on my Cricut. I used my Gypsy to layout a pretty big size mask. I started in the middle of the mat with a 2″ snowflake and just worked my way out using smaller snowflakes. I have some thin transparency sheets and it cut beautifully on my Cricut….Just think of all the different masks we can make….

Today’s video is on how I made a background using sticking back canvas…

supplies: Sticky back canvas, Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst Spray (Frosted Forget me nots) and Glitz (Silver), Mask.

If you haven’t tried or just getting into Lindy Stamp Gang sprays…check out their sale…Click HERE for more info.

supplies: Lindy Stamp Gang: Starburst Spray & Glitz, BoBunny Midnight frost pattern paper, Martha Stewart large and small snowflake punch, Martha Stewart Course Glitter,  Paper Trey Ink On Ice Stamp Set, DMC Floss, Hand Dyed Crinkle Ribbon

Hope you all have a great day. See you tomorrow 🙂

Magical Mica’s

November 4, 2010

Hi Everyone,
I haven’t really been in the mood to actually make projects, but I have been wanting to play. Thought today I would show you a video on the Magical Mica’s from Lindy’s Stamp Gang. They are so much fun to play with and I love the two tone look. The Mica’s I used in the this video is an orange with a really beautiful gold called red hot poker (I love the names). What I like best about the Mica’s is you don’t have to set them,  the gum arabic is already in the Mica’s.  You can also use them with Versamark as a rub.

Don’t forget to check out the giveaway posted over on their YouTube Channel… and while you are there check out all the other great designers. They have a fantastically talented group of designers…
Have a great Thursday :0)

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
