Embossing Folders

December 8, 2010

Hi Everyone,

I was playing with some embossing folders from Generations Crafting this past weekend. It was really fun to play with different techniques.
Today’s video is a tutorial on some techniques you can do with your embossing folders…
The Basic Grey are my favorites for the holidays….

Here are a few cards I made using the techniques in the video

Hope you have a great day….

It’s back to our regular projects. I don’t know about you but World Card Making Day got me pumped and I’m in the crafting mood….Last night I pulled out all my supplies to start a Halloween mini album (I’ll film a video or two as I go) and after WCMD I pulled out my Cri-Kits supplies…

Today I have a video that shows how to use the Embossing Kit from Cri-Kits. Enjoy…

Cri-Kits Embosser~Video #2

July 19, 2010

Hi All,
I spent some time this weekend preparing projects for Cri-Kits CHA booth. Cri-Kits will be at the Craft Edge booth….

Here is a video on one of my projects…

and a picture…

Also here are a few photos to another project I made using the $1.00 chalkboards you can get at AcMoore. I love how this came out…I used the Cri-Kit pens.
What I love about the pens is you can take a Cricut image that doesn’t have layers and use your design studio or gypsy to create your outlines of the images you want to use. Like the pencil and apple. I just used the Hide Contour feature to remove the lines and stitching on one page and then created another page with the lines and stitching that would be written with my pens.

Have a great day…Hugs,

Cri-Kits Embosser~Video

June 18, 2010

Hi Everyone….
I’m in love with the new Cri-Kits Embosser. Oh my….it is awesome.
Working with vellum and metal was a lot of fun. I show in my video a card that I attempted to sew on, but yeah…..I won’t post a picture of it. It was a very sad attempt at sewing. My sewing machine and I have issues….
Vellum…LOVE IT….I can’t wait to work more with it. I’ve never really used vellum before in a project, so this was a nice change….

I love the metal and this morning I woke up to an email that Cri-Kits now has 10 colors available. Check them out here…..

Here is a video featuring the Embosser….Enjoy and have a great weekend:)

Cri-Kits Embosser

June 16, 2010

Check it out…..

I got a package, I got a package….It’s the Cricut Embosser…As a design team member I get the chance to play with Cri-Kits new products and they have some amazing new stuff coming out…WOW….
Here is the Cri-Kits Embosser.

I haven’t had a chance to play with vellum yet, but here’s is an example of an embossed image I did using metal…..It runs so smooth and embossing so nicely…
The embosser has two ends. A thicker point end and a fine point end and it works with your Cri-Kits pen holders.
I’ll be back soon with a video on how to use the Embosser….

Hugs,

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders .
