Wild Card Series #19 Ornament Card

October 27, 2009

Happy Tuesday,

Well I was able to get you another Wild Card Video up and running. We’re working on the Ornament card that is on page 74 of the Cricut Wild Card manual. This is really a cute Christmas card! I was thinking after I tied on the linen thread that if you perforated the side of the card, the person receiving it could hang the ornament on their tree. Wouldn’t that be cute?

Enjoy today’s video.

Don’t forget next week is my fun filled week with Christmas with the Cricut.

Another Winter Woodland House

August 17, 2009

I can’t stop making these, they are just so cute. The Winter Woodland cartridge is the best. The 3D houses are just so darling and come in 6 different sizes. There are also 3D trees and a 3D snowman. Someone had asked where I got the cartridge, I called ACmoore…they are not on the shelves yet (at least not at my store), but they have them in back. YEAH!!

For this one I took the time to dress it up. I used white embossing powder on the black cardstock so it looks like snow had fallen. I still want to add some transparency paper to the windows and someone had mentioned adding one of those little battery operated candles inside. Wouldn’t that be so sweet.

and these trees are just darling too. I added some of Stampin’ Up’s dazzling diamonds glitter to these. I may still add some to the snow on the roof. Sorry the picture of this is not the best. I didn’t notice that my husband had changed the settings on the camera.

Christmas goody

December 22, 2008

Can you believe Christmas is only a few days away!!!

I still have so much to do, like make fudge, wrap a few more presents, and get my gifts together for the people that work in my department.

Tomorrow night is my son’s Christmas show at school. He’s really excited and has been walking around the house for days singing Christmas songs.

These little goodies are for my son’s friends at school.

I made the pillow box using the wedding cartridge and clear acetate. The stamp is from Stamin Up! They are so cute.

Christmas Stocking

November 24, 2008

OK. so I keep seeing all these beautiful cards made out of acetate. I had to try. Here’s my version.

The little stocking is from the Christmas Cheer Cricut Cart. What would I do without my Cricut. The paper on the stocking from the FaLaLa collection.

I made 2 sets of these for Christmas.

Happy Thanksgiving

Yet Another Christmas Card

November 19, 2008

This was inspired by a card I found on the net.

The white ribbon is from one of the craft stores $1 bin and the stamps are of course from Stampin Up! If you like any of the stamps I’ve been using you can order them directly from my Stampin Up! website (click here). I cut the tag from the Storybook Cricut Cartridge. The pattern paper is from the Making Memories FaLaLa paper set. Cute.

Happy Crafting! and thanks for looking

Snowman

November 16, 2008

Thought I would share this card I made today. The snowman is from Stampin Up! item # 109507.

I’m not liking how my pictures are coming out. I moved stuff around in my scrap room and only used one light instead of two. You can really see a difference in the pictures when you only use one light.

Off to my nephew’s birthday party.

Happy Crafting.

Oh Christmas Tree

November 12, 2008

I had the day off yesterday and got so much done.

Here is one…This card came out great. I used JOTS from Cricut (I love that cartridge). The background was stamped with “Season of joy” (item #110384) from Stampin! Up. This is a great set that includes so much…love it. The paper is also from the K & Company holiday paper pack and a snowflake brad tops the tree.

Happy Crafting.

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
