Hi Everyone,
Long time no post. I hope everyone is doing well! I can’t believe how fast the holidays are coming upon us. It’s just around the corner.
I’m completely inspired by all the excitement over the Cricut Maker and the Explore this season I decided to play around with making some ornaments for my little tree I have here in my craft room.
I picked up some DIY glass ornaments at my local craft store this weekend and got started making a few little cuties for my tree.
I started with coating the inside of my ornaments with acrylic paint. I actually used Waverly Chalk paint that I have in my stash instead of buying new and it worked perfectly. The colors I selected where Mineral, Silver Lining, Ballet Slippers and Cashew. Just a note, the chalk paint is a little thick so it took some work to cover the inside of the ornaments.
I selected a few sentiments from the Cricut Cartridge, Season To Sparkle and cut the sentiments using black vinyl. I’m always amazed how well the Cricut cuts such small and detailed cuts.
I can’t pick which one of these I like the best, but I love how they turned out.

Those turned out soo cute! Thanks Christina for sharing those with us.
I agree the ornaments turn very nice. I would not have the patience to do all that work,of course I only have the original circuit, does not do anything fancy, but works fine for what I use to make cardsKathyBethlehem, PA
Love the ornaments, Christina! I couldn't find the video on Youtube, though. I am a subscriber, but all of the posts came up as being several months old. I will try again later!
Very, very cute! I wish I had the patience! Thanks for sharing!
Hey BethAnn. Thanks. I don’t have a video for these. I’ll see if I can make one before the holidays. Christina.
Hi Kathy. Fellow Pa’er. We visited chriskindlemrkt last year in Bethlehem. We had so much fun and the ornaments. Wow!
Thanks Roxanna. Happy holidays. Christina.
Thanks Trena. Have a wonderful holiday.
Holy cow, how did I miss this post? I just saw an email from you so I came to write, and now I see I'm way behind. I'll catch up. Hope you had a great holiday.
