Today I’m sharing how to use the 123 Punch Board by We R’ Memory Keepers. I have been having a blast playing with this punch board. Bows are my favorite.
Stay tuned for more videos to come with how to make the file folder card, envelope boxes, and envelope liners. So much fun 🙂

I mentioned in the video that I have a tutorial on how to make envelope liners for your envelopes using the regular punch board. You can find that HERE.

Get Well Soon

August 5, 2015

Today’s card is for my aunt who just had knee surgery.

{Supplies are listed below in the thumbnails at the end of the blog post}

I used Mama Elephant’s Bloomsie stamp set and Lawn Fawn’s Scripty Sayings for this card.

Card Details:
I stamped the Lawn Fawn sentiment with Versa Fine Black Onyx ink on some Neenah 80lb cardstock and then heat embossed it with Ultra Fine clear embossing powder.
Before stamping out the flowers from the Bloomsie stamp set I masked off the sentiment with some Post it tape and then picked several Hero Arts inks to create the colorful background.
To finish off the card I did a faux stitched line with a Gelly Roll Pen an then die cut the panel with my favorite Simon Says Stamp Stitched rectangle dies. Layered that on some black cardstock and created a card base with Paper Try Ink Summer Sunrise cardstock that is cut to a standard A2 (4-1/3″ x 5-1/2″) card.

Wishing you a day filled with sunshine

August 3, 2015

Just popping in to share a card using Newton’s Nook Stamps.
{Supplies are listed below in the thumbnails at the end of the blog post}

Every once in a while I like to pull out my Copic markers and practice. Sandy Allnock’s HexChart has been a huge help to me with picking colors and seeing what will blend together nicely. Check out Sandy’s You Tube Channel too. She’s been a great inspiration to me and makes me want to practice more with Copics and watercoloring.

Here are some more details on my card:
Card Details:
I used Newton’s Daydreaming Stamp Set and colored the kitties on some X-Press It Copic quality cardstock with W1-W3 and W4 Copics to get the grayish color. R11 is the purr-fect color for the inside of the ears and nose.

Newton is daydreaming on a little bit of grass, which I colored with YG03. I will be honest…coloring the ground always makes me nervous. I think it’s because its the last step for me when I color and could be the thing that makes me have to start over. I’m sweating just thinking about it. lol
For the flowers I used W1 on the petals and the YG03 from the grass to give the stems some color.

I also added two butterflies to my little scene. The first one I colored with BG10-BG11 and BG32. The yellow butterfly by the sentiment I colored with Y24 and YR31. Once I was done coloring I die cut the image and some pattern paper with a set of stitched square dies and mounted it on a 4″ card base.

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
