Oh my…I posted this video last week and never set the post to go live…so here it is.
Hi Everyone,
Today’s video is a tutorial on the We R’ Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. It’s a great little tool and is packed with lots and lots of envelope sizes. I’m really impressed with it. There where sizing problems when it first came out and for the most part it was fixed but the A2 envelope is still a little wonky. Check out the video…

So if you cut the paper at 8-1/8 x 8-1/4 you get a much better envelope for fitting A2 sized cards.

Here are a few places you can order the Envelope Punch Board from 🙂
I'm going downstairs right now to try this new size!!!
Thanks for giving us this tip. I just got my envelope punch and haven't had a chance to use, but I'm going to try it right now.
Thank you so much for this great tutorial. I wanted to buy this and I had no idea that they had incorrect measurements on the board. Excellent video.
I haven't invested in one of these just yet, but thank you for the tips. I am thinking I may need one!
Hi – It looks like you cut your paper at 8 1/16″ on the video for both cuts. Will this make a difference with the envelope?
I am so happy you did this tute, Christina! I just got my envelope board and haven't taken it out to play with it yet, but this tweak will be so useful! Thanks a bunch! 🙂
Interesting that there's errors on this envelope board That's too bad, and very frustrating, I'm sure, to users who haven't seen your video. I use the Ultimate Crafters Companion and love it, even though it doesn't punch or round the corners.
Thank you for the tutorial. I have watched Andrew demonstrate on HSN but they go really fast with the demos. (loved your nail polish)
Thanks for the video. I have seen this at expo's and the CHA and didn't even have a clue it was so difficult to put the card into the envelope. All they ever showed us was how to use it so it's nice to know we need to make adjustments, especially for thicker cards.
Great video and very helpful…I wasn't sure if I wanted one of these….but after seeing your video I think I will like one!Chris
Thanks for that tip! I knew it was off when I first tried that size.
Just got the Envelope Punch Board yesterday. Well, I can see why they had such problems with the A2 envelope size—-crazy as it sounds, on the Envelope Punch Board, they have the A2 card size as 4.5 x 5.5. I thought an A2 card was 4.25….not 4.5!! Seriously, a five year old could have designed this Envelope Punch Board more accurately. There is not one 4.25 measurement on the Envelope Punch Board at all. (sigh) I guess the best advice for anyone new to using this is to go by the card size envelope on the Punch Board and forget what you know.
Stampin up now sells the envelope punch board and theirs has a size listed for a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 size card. It's: paper size 8 x 8 and line up first edge at 3-1/2. It works quite well.
