Hello everyone!
Here we are back on the blog.
After opening my Cricut Joy the very first project I made was of course an insert card. Cricut has some great free projects you can use to make cards, home decor items, and iron-on projects with the Joy Machine. I’m working on making some labels next.

Easter Treat Basket (Sweet Treats & Doodlecharms)
Happy Monday Everyone,
I hope you had a great weekend. Me…well when the Advil was kicked in to help my toothache it was good. I had to make a run to the dentist last Monday because I lost a filling in a wisdom tooth (long store on why I still have my bottom wisdom teeth) and ever since then the pain has been getting a little worse everyday…WAH! Needless to say I’ll be calling the dentist office as soon as they open this morning….
To keep my mind off the pain…I made these cute little Easter treat baskets for my nieces and nephews.
Hugs,

Miss You Card~Video
Hi All,
I hope you are having a wonderfully relaxing weekend. I’ve been having a ball, I’ve gotten some much needed crafting time. Lovin’ it.
Today is a “Miss You” card using the Home Decor Cricut Cartridge.
Supplies: Home Decor Cricut Cartridge, Oh la la pattern paper by My Minds Eye, Paper Trey Ink Aqua Mist Cardstock and satin ribbon, Paper Trey Ink Vintage Cream Cardstock, Bazzil Brown Cardstock, Fiskars Scallop Punch, SU! Word Window Punch, SU! Label Punch, My Pink Stamper Stamps, ATG Adhesive Gun.
Cardstock~Tuesday Tips
Happy Tuesday. Today’s tip is 8-1/2 x 11 cardstock….
My favorite basic white card stock is by Georgia Pacific (found at Walmart). It’s great for the base of cards, making flowers and cutting with your Cricut….
For Copic coloring I prefer Neenah Cardstock….rich and creamy
For colored cardstock I’m Paper Trey Ink all the way. The quality is amazing and I love the color selection as well as being able to order 12 sheets for $3 or 24 for $5. They also have matching ribbon ;0)
Storage:
When I went to Ikea a few weeks ago I picked up these (2/$3.99) magazine files.
Inside the magazine files, I use file folders from Michael’s dollar spot to separate my cardstock by color. When I first started I was writing the name of the company/color on the folder, but found that if I just cut a slit in the plastic that they come in I can just slide my cardstock out and keep the label inside the original package. This way I don’t have to relabel the files if I decided not to reorder that same color.
I keep my scraps right in front of the original package, so I reach for those first 🙂
Stay Tuned next week for 12×12 cardstock and pattern paper 🙂
Hugs,
