World Card Making Day

I’m so excited…It’s finally here….
World Card Making Day!

We’ll be starting at 10am…that’s only a 1/2 hour from now….

Here’s a quick video on how the day works….

To sum it up….
*Every hour at the top of the hour starting at 10AM (EST) to 5PM (EST) will be a new challenge. I’ll be including a link to each challenge so you can upload your completed project…If you don’t have a blog or a place to host your completed project, you can tag me on Facebook and share your completed projects with us on FB.
*Half hour past the challenge will be a giveaway…You don’t have to participate in the challenge to enter  for a giveaway.  Please only one comment per giveaway and leave a way to be contacted if you should win.
*We’ll keep commenting open on the giveaways until Monday morning so everyone has a chance to enter and a chance to win…

Today I thought I would share with you what World Card Making Day is….

World Card Making Day began in 2006 as National Card Making Day. Founded byPaper Crafts magazine to bring card makers together at the beginning of the busiest card-making season of the year, it was first held on October 7, 2006. The initial celebration involved the Paper Crafts magazine audience only; however, due to the positive response it received and the worldwide popularity of card making, the holiday became known as World Card Making Day from then on.

Celebrating its fifth year in 2010, World Card Making Day is celebrated annually on the first Saturday in October. It’s a day for the card-making community — hobbyists, retailers, and manufacturers — to unite and celebrate the connection and creativity that is the heart of card making.


Now for some details on tomorrow’s fun…We start at 10am (EST) and will run until 5pm (EST)….Every hour starting at 10am will be a new challenge with video…every 1/2 hour after the challenge will be a giveaway. That’s 8 challenges, 8 videos, 8 giveaways….It’s gonna be a good time….

Hi Everyone,
Didn’t want you to get worried about me…..I’ve been busy busy busy getting everything ready for Saturday…I’m so excited and can’t wait….I think it’s going to be a fun filled day…

Here are a few more details about what you’ll see on Saturday…
Challenges start at 10am (EST) and will run until 5pm (EST). We have scheduled a new challenge every hour (with video) and every 1/2 hour after the challenge there will be a giveaway…..So that makes 8 Challenges, 8 Videos and 8 Giveaways…If you where one of the lucky ones to be on YouTube the past two days while I was loading the videos….well you may have gotten a sneak peek…lol
