Ethan's Graduation

August 8, 2020

Hi Everyone,

I can’t believe he officially graduated last month. 2020 has been a wild year for everyone.
I won’t bore you with my mushy mom stuff, or overwhelm you with too many photos. I posted a bunch of them on Facebook if you want to check them all out.

First, these are photos from graduation practice. Ethan had to dress up for Honor Society/Top 10% in the class photos. I don’t get to see him dressed up much these day, shorts and t-shirts are the extent of it. He starts college in less than two weeks, so he’ll get out of those shorts soon. I hope!

Organize With Me | Stamp and Die Storage

August 31, 2019

I hope you are all enjoying the weekend.
Today we’re organizing my stamp and die storage. I love the drawers and the location works perfectly. The system inside the drawers just needed an update.
What I really like about organizing my space is being able to see what I have and getting little inspiration from those items to create.
Enjoy the video.

I love that we can be nutty together

August 26, 2019

Happy Monday!
I have a really quick post for you today. I made this card when I had my stitched rectangle dies out on my desk for the “My Favorite Card Making Tools and Supplies” video I posted last weekend. I love those dies and the stitching on the inside and outside of the cut line makes the layers pop!

Have a great week,
Christina

Thankzzz

August 19, 2019

Happy Monday,
It’s so great to get back into my craft room and start creating again. I’m working on some video ideas and can’t wait to share them with you. Now on to today’s card.
Thanks for stopping in.
~Christina

Today I’m sharing a thank you card.
I created a background using Yupo paper and some alcohol pearl/inks. If you haven’t tried these yet, it’s a must. I heat dried the background most of the way and on the really wet sections that didn’t dry I added gold foil. Such a fun technique.

I die cut the background along with my stamped image using MFT’s Wonky Oval dies.

The stamped image and sentiment by Darcie is called Hello Honey. I used Gina K. amalgam ink on 110lb solar white cardstock so I knew it would take the alcohol markers. The coloring I kept simple with a few Copic markers.

I also stamped out the heart with Hero Arts Soft Brown ink and did a little fussy cutting.
For a little extra I added some sequins.

Here are the supplies I used to make this card.

I'm absolutely thrilled to share an exciting creative project that I recently completed for @teamspellbinders . This particular piece was crafted using the beautiful and intricate dies from this month's Stitched Die Club collection. After experimenting with different possibilities, I decided to make my creation into a decorative tag.
