Today’s video is about what you need to know and how to get started with using alcohol inks for making unique backgrounds for cards

Here are a few cards I made using the alcohol inks.

This first card is done with just using Yupo paper and alcohol inks. Very simple two color ink background but stepped up by die-cutting them with a stitched rectangle die set and layering them with some foam tape.

The next card is done with alcohol inked vellum! A sentiment stamped out and embossed with white embossing powder, then die cut with its coordinating die. Layer that on some bright colored cardstock and you have a simple card ready.

Card # 3 is also die cut with a stitched rectangle die. Does anyone else have a die set they use over and over again? This background design started with a basic inked background and then stepped up by adding the Gilded Alloy Ink. Toss on another simple sentiment and you have another card ready.

I hope you enjoyed today’s video and learned something new.
