Acetate Birthday Card

January 24, 2019

Hi there! I’m working on building up my birthday card stash. My collection has dwindled a bit and it’s time to get some cards made.

I was working on putting some stamp sets away and came across this set by Clearly Besotted “On your bike” and was inspired.

{Supplies are listed below in the thumbnails at the end of this blog post}

The card base is made with acetate and measures 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.

I used the same corrugated cardstock with the Stitched Tim Holtz circle die from last weeks card and added a larger circle of Platinum Rose cardstock. I colored the images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I covered the inside of the front panel with an extra piece of white cardstock cut with the same circle die and then used another piece for the front side of the back panel. I added the sentiment from the same stamp set.

How to use the Gemini Jr. by Crafter's Companion

January 21, 2019

Hi! I’ve been using the Gemini Jr. for a few months now and it’s become my go-to tool for cardmaking and die cutting. I’m absolutely loving it and wanted to share a video on how use this amazing machine.

In the video I show how to use the machine and the different plate combinations for using with wafer thin dies, embossing folders and how to emboss using the embossing mat and dies.

Quick & Easy Birthday Card with one sentiment and a few die cuts

January 16, 2019

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well.
I made it a goal in 2019 to get back to doing what I really enjoy. Crafting and making videos for fun. I struggled a lot over the past year in making videos because I felt it was something I had to do or that I needed to make it into something more. To be honest putting that stress on myself took all the fun and enjoyment out of crafting.
So with my new goal in hand and getting back to basics with making cards and videos for fun. I’m here to share with you my fist video of 2019. I hope you enjoy it and come back often for more. Thanks so much for all the love and support you’ve given me over these past many years. I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed getting to know you. So here’s to an amazing, fun, and creative 2019!

Happy New Year!!

January 3, 2019

Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a great holiday 🙂 I thought I would stop in and share some photos of our holiday here in NEPA, but first…

I had such a blast playing with my Cricut Maker this holiday. I posted about some of the things I made HERE and HERE if you want to check them out. How many of you got new Cricut’s this year? Which version did you get?

I would love to learn to sew and get even more use out of my Cricut. If any of you have a suggestion for a sewing machine, I would love some advice. A sewing machine is on my wishlist for this year.

Now for some photos of our holiday this year.

Christmas Eve was spent at my older brothers house. I love this photo of my mom, Ethan and my nephews.

Scott and I are never in pictures together since I’m the family photographer. So I had to snap a selfie of us 🙂

OMG! this is my great nephew. Is he not just adorable! I can eat him right up!

and here are a few photos from Christmas morning. Ethan happens to be sitting in one of his presents.

My sister loves coffee, so we surprised her with a new Keurig.
Here is Mr. Thomas. He was a tad excited about his speaker.
Here are a few photos of Scott and Ethan at my In-Laws for our annual after Christmas pizza party!

That’s all I have to share for today. I hope you had a great holiday. I can’t wait to see what 2019 brings.
