Christmas Tags and Coffee Cups

December 20, 2018

Hi Everyone,
I can’t believe Christmas is just a few short days away. It’s been really busy around here so I haven’t had a chance to film any videos. I’m sorry about that, but here are some photos of a gift I made for my staff.

I used a Lawn Fawn stamp and die set that I picked up a few weeks ago to create some tags to go with my gift. You can find a list of supplies used to create these projects below.

The background of the tag was created with a Gina K Designs background stamp and Vintage Cream Cardstock. I die cut the background with the Full Cut Tag from the “Say What” gift tag die set and then die cut Kraft cardstock with the window tag. The images are from the “Say What? Christmas Critter” set.

For my gift I  found these white coffee cups at Michaels and customized them with my staff’s name using my Cricut Maker. The book stack is from the One Cut Icons Cartridge and the Cricut font called Alien. I linked all the supplies I used below (except for the cups).

Here is a photo of what the finished cups looked like filled with goodies and the tags added. My staff loved them 🙂

Christmas Ornaments with Cricut

December 6, 2018

Hi Everyone,
Long time no post. I hope everyone is doing well! I can’t believe how fast the holidays are coming upon us. It’s just around the corner.

I’m completely inspired by all the excitement over the Cricut Maker and the Explore this season I decided to play around with making some ornaments for my little tree I have here in my craft room.

I picked up some DIY glass ornaments at my local craft store this weekend and got started making a few little cuties for my tree.

I started with coating the inside of my ornaments with acrylic paint. I actually used Waverly Chalk paint that I have in my stash instead of buying new and it worked perfectly. The colors I selected where Mineral, Silver Lining, Ballet Slippers and Cashew. Just a note, the chalk paint is a little thick so it took some work to cover the inside of the ornaments.

I selected a few sentiments from the Cricut Cartridge, Season To Sparkle and cut the sentiments using black vinyl. I’m always amazed how well the Cricut cuts such small and detailed cuts.

I can’t pick which one of these I like the best, but I love how they turned out.
