Hi Everyone,
Just a quick post today as it’s been a very crazy week and today is also my dad’s birthday.
So here is his card I made using the Minc Machine, Silver Foil, and a Laser Printer.
The card base is a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ standard card.
I used Adobe Photoshop and a basic font to create the birthday sentiment and printed it on Neenah Cardstock with my Laser Printer. I ended up getting a Laser Printer and love how much it’s added to the fun of my minc machine.
I used some pattern paper to matte the card base and then die cut the sentiment with a stitched die. For the balloons I die cut pattern paper and then used glossy accents to add the shine.

I've had a laser printer for years and I'm so glad I never sold it now that I can foil using laser prints. Love your card. There's so much I want to do with the Minc and also the Fuse – just got to stop juggling grandchildren and start crafting! TFS
Great card Christina!!! Love the foil lettering!
I Love the card you made for ur father. Sorry he got sick but glad he will be home soon. Sending him wishes for a speedy recovery. Changing gears now….. Can u tell me how you chose this particular printer? I've been looking at laser printers but am very confused since I've only ever owned inkjet printers. Thanks for any help you can provide. Or maybe it can be a tutorial of sorts. Thanks.
Thank you so much. Okay printer….I picked it because it's one Heidi Swapp recommended in a video she has on you tube with the minc machine. I've used it a few times and love it. The toner might seem a little expensive but you get many more pages then you would a cartridge. Hope that helps. Hugs, C
Yes, it helped very much. did u purchase the name brand toner or generic?
I haven't had to replace it yet…I think I remember the box saying the cartridge will give you 700 pages? I'm not 100% positive on that thought. When it's time to replace I will try a generic, if it doesn't work I'll switch back to the HP brand.
Thanks so much, Christina.
It's truly creative and inspirational. I personally love foil and flock printing. This idea is very helpful while preparing Scroll Wedding Cards. Thanks for the ideas.
