Hi Everyone,
Well I’m very happy to report that Baby Riley is here. My niece went into the hospital this morning and Riley was born at 2:05 this afternoon. I posted some pictures on Facebook and Instagram if you want to check them out. Riley is beautiful and Breanna (Mom) is doing well and Riley’s dad is very proud.
As soon as I found out Bree was heading to the hospital I said…get yourself home and get working on that banner. I left work, picked up Ethan at school at 2:30 and went right to finishing up the banner. My niece loved it 🙂 Makes me happy 🙂
Here are a few photos of the banner. The supplies are linked at the end of this blog post to multiple sources so you can shop your favorite stores.
I used my Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banner Die to die cut canvas that I picked up at Joann’s. For the edges of the canvas I used some Multi Medium Matte to keep the ends of fraying. It worked well.
As a layer on the banners I die cut another banner from the LF die set using paper from the Crate Paper Open Book collection. I then layered the stitched circle also from the LF collection and die cut the letters for Riley. I used two shades of pink to make the letters stand out more on the banners. For a finishing touch (and a way to find the holes on the smaller banner piece) I added some white flowers I have in my stash.
Now I’m wanting to make a Valentine’s banner for my craft room.
I hope you all have a great weekend. I may be back tomorrow with my January Haul Video 🙂

Beautiful!! I got the LF banner dies for Christmas and will definitely look to this for inspiration! Can I say I'm glad you are not limiting your creating to just Stampin Up? I look forward to each post!!
Congratulations, and the banner looks beautiful. We're just back from a trip so I'm doing catch-up.
