Hi Everyone,
Happy New Year 🙂
We are patiently waiting for my niece to have her baby. She’s due in about two week and we’re all very excited to have a baby in the family again. So very exciting.
Well it’s back to work this week for us. We had a great 12 days off. Scott and I did some much needed work around the house, played games, went to the movies and I even did some work in the craft room. HEHE
I mentioned in my haul video last week that I needed to stock up on some birthday cards. Today’s video shows how to make a shaped card using Cricut Design Space. If I haven’t mentioned before…I love my Cricut Explore 🙂 One thing I always loved about the Gypsy was making shaped cards and now with Design Space I find it so much easier to create. For the party hat I used an image from the Photo Booth Cartridge. It comes in both a regular cartridge and digital. I hope you enjoy today’s video.

Last week I made a shaped card with the “puurfect” cat from Create A Critter and I loved how easy it was in Design Space. Thanks for bringing the i-rock to life again. I'd forgotten about that tool and now I think how much easier it would be to use something like that instead of fussing with either sticking adhesive behind plain gems or using the self-stick ones. TFS and looking forward to more videos. I cannot believe my Gypsy has sat unloved since the Explore arrived.
Cute card!
Your card is so cute! I am loving the tips on using Design Space, as I just got the Explore for Christmas, and this was very useful. I was so interested on how to put all the cuts on one mat as I usually do with the Expression. Thank You!
Great card! I am excited to see what you create this year! Keep it coming!
Love the card. Great to see you working with a Cricut again!
Love your card. I have Circuit Expression and have been debating (with myself) as to purchasing the Cricut Explore. I really like how you basically told us how you set up your mat then showed us how to assemble card.
Love your card always enjoy your tutorials. Unrelated question for you, absolutely love your Fitbit band. Where did you find that.
