I have two projects to share, both with the Festival of Trees Stamp and Punch Bundle. I listed the supplies below.
The first is a card I made using some non-traditional Christmas colors (Sahara Sand and Silver). The sequins messed with the flash on my camera and I just couldn’t get the photo to come out nice and bright like it is in person.

 The card is a standard A2 size card (4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″). I stamped a few trees out with Sahara Sand ink and then stamped and punched out another tree to pop it off the card. It’s hard to tell in the photo but I added some embossed ornaments on the trees with silver embossing powder and then embossed the sentiment. I matted the stamped section with Sahara Sand Cardstock that is cut at 4″ x 5-1/4″ and added the sequins. I went a little sequin happy 🙂

Next up is a tag. I kept the tag simple. I love the Tag Topper Punches for making quick tags for gifts.

Hi Everyone,
Today’s video is the unboxing of my new Cricut Explore. When I purchased my Explore I also picked up a few accessories. The Bluetooth adaptor works great. I have my machine on one side of the room and my computer on the other. I also just heard that the Print then Cut feature will be coming out next week 🙂 All of you with the Imagine Machine will be able now use your cartridges with the explore too.

I will have some tutorials coming soon but I did want to mention how excited I was when I logged into the Design Space Program to see all my cartridges I loaded to the Craft Room Program are automatically linked to Design Space. WooHoo so easy.

Since I opened the box a few days ago I can tell you I am in absolute love with this machine. The quality of cutting is amazing. Stay tuned for tutorial videos.

Hi Everyone,
We have a program at the library going on called Maker Monday and every week a new maker style project is done. I was asked to do a stamping class. It was so much fun and I had a very talented group to work with. Here is a photo that one of our librarians took of some of the finished cards.

We started off the class by stamping out images on some scrap paper to get the hang and feel of stamping. Then made some really simple cards with washi tape and a sentiment.

After that we played with making backgrounds (pattern paper) out of some of the smaller stamps.

Thanks everyone who came to my class. I really enjoyed it and you are all so very talented.

Just side note…Commenting is not working on my blog? Not sure what’s going on but hope to get it fixes soon.
