Hi everyone,
Hope you all had a great weekend and a wonderful 4th of July 🙂
Today’s video is a project I worked on Saturday evening. I was sorting out some pattern paper that I wanted to purge from my collection and decided while I was at it I would try out organizing my 12×12 pattern paper by color instead of company. I can already tell I love this way of organizing better. I found so many things that I can’t wait to use on some layouts.
Here is a video showing my process:

I was checking around on Oriental Trading‘s site and couldn’t find the paper storage system I currently use. I do know you can buy the Cropper Hopper style at Joann’s and Michael’s.
Thanks for stopping, have a great day 🙂

You are an organizational guru. I keep my pads together in cropper hoppers from M's, and I have single-sided CS in one, double-sided CS in another, paper (thinner CS that you can't use for a card base) in another, etc. Holidays are separate too. I love your idea. You have great patience.
Thanks for sharing your system. I will be curious if you like sorting by color rather than manufacturer over time.
The paper holders are currently out of stock at Oriental Trading, here is the item number if anyone is interested. Frosted Paper Holders IN-65/85106
Thank you for the tips. I like storing by color too…
This is great! Thanks for the tips!
Great video. My 12×12 papers are in desperate need of something done to them as they are hard to get to and I don't know what I have. How many of the 12×12 containers did you end up using to hold all your papers? I don't have a lot of storage space so am wondering how that would work for me.Thanks.
Thank you for sharing the code…I couldn't find it at all when I searched. Hugs, C
Hi Sherry, I have 7 for my 12×12 pattern and 6 for solids, plus one that holds Project Life papers. Hugs, C
Great video, we can get carried away with paper purchases. I too have so much. I love your sorting idea. Thanks again
Oh I am loving this! I still wish you made home visits. LOL Thanks for sharing your great ideas. I have the CD envelopes in a cart on line but I am going to see if I can get to the real store in the next couple of days. Thanks again.
Woman you're making me tired LOL I re-did my dies this weekend. Loved your idea I posted on my blog I do my paper this way too and love it! Have a blessed day! Peggy
