Today’s video is a card that I sketched out inspired by a Power Point presentation Scott did yesterday at work…He did find it funny that I was doodling during his meeting and sketched a card layout. LOL
Even though the My Minds Eye Collectable Collection is great for Project Life the 6×6 paper pads like the Unforgettable papers I used today are great for card making.

I know I’ve been MIA…Sorry about that, my crafty mojo took a little vacation 🙂
Last night I sat down and played with Lawn Fawn’s stamp set Make Lemonade that came out last summer. Such a cute little stamp set.
 I started out with a 4-1/4″ card base and scored a frame with my Scor-buddy. I then matted the middle section with paper from of the Pink Lemonade paper collection.

I stamped out the little pitcher of lemonade and colored it with yellow and orange Copic’s to match the paper. I don’t have orange alpha stickers so I took some old white ones from my stash and colored them to match. I love enamel dots and I’m finally starting to make myself use them. One of those things that you love so much but don’t want to use.

To balance out the card I added orange twine with a PTI orange zest button.

It was nice to sit and play again. Seems like it’s been weeks since I made a card.

Today’s video is about Project Life 🙂

Project Life is popping up in lots of online stores (I see Scrapbook.com has them coming soon) and I also hear that Hobby Lobby now has Project Life. Lots of companies are starting up their own versions of PL like Echo Park’s Photo Freedom, Simple Stories has a few collections out, and We R Memory Keepers has some great albums and page inserts. It’s making working on PL even more fun this year with so many more collection options.

Wow what a beautiful weekend. I didn’t think spring was ever going to get to NEPa. We might even hit 70 today 🙂 woohooooooo
Today’s video shows my Alex drawer unit from Ikea. I’ve had this unit for about 2 years and I love it. Next trip to Ikea I want to get the smaller Alex units to use as my desk legs.

PaperTreyInk has been my favorite inks lately, but now that I’ve tried out Hero Arts I’m sold…I’m going to need more of those for sure. I like Stampin’ Up‘s new ink pads, I’m rating them in 2nd place…I really didn’t have to work to hard like you do with Paper Trey Ink to get a solid image.
