Hi Everyone,
Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Happy to report the new furnace is in and we are nice and toasty. Today the new dryer comes (oh yes, that broke too last weekend) and I have lots of laundry to get caught up on.
This week on my blog I thought I would share some links to some of my favorite scrapbooking products for those who are looking for some crafty gifts for your loved ones π Just click pictures below for links to where you can order.
Today is my list of my favorite scrapbooking tools. Things I can’t live without π Okay I could live without them but I can’t scrap without them π
I can’t say enough good things about the Silhouette Cameo. Amazing detailed cuts, the print and cut feature is fantastic, and their software (free or paid) is very user friendly.Β
Tim Holtz’s Tiny Attacher is great for attaching embellishments to your cards or layouts but it’s great too for the office π
The Quick Stick is a wonderful little tool. It has this sticky (but not too sticky) end that you use to pick up small piece and place them where you want them to be. Its great for those tiny piece that cut out with your electronic die cutters.Β
I’m posting both the Cuttlebug and the Big Shot because I love both. I would recommend either one of these, you certainly don’t need both as they do the same thing. I just have both because way back when Cuttlebug didn’t have long plates for cutting longer dies.
Martha….I love Martha….Here little precision scissors are perfect for fussy cutting and I love the 12″ scor board. Martha now has a 6″ scor board that I’ve never tried because I have the Scor Buddy. I would totally recommend a 6″ scorer for you cardmakers out there. If you want to make envelopes with your cards then you will want the larger 12″ board.
I have tried many many many paper trimmers. Ranging from a cheap $10 trimmer to $70 and this Fiskar trimmer is by far the best I’ve used. Blades do run out quickly but I’m hearing the new Titanium blades last much much longer.
Last but certainly not least is my Tim Holtz Tonic scissors. Oh my these babies are the best out there. I’ve cut everything from paper, ribbon, and even brad backings and they are still nice and sharp. I need more of these around my house and not just in my scraproom.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post on some of my favorite scrap tools and helps with your gift giving this holiday.
Hugs and happy crafting,
