Hello everyone 🙂
I hope you are having a wonderful summer so far…We are enjoying here in PA. It’s gonna be a hot hot weekend.

I totally love the “hello summer” stamp set by Lawn Fawn and I’m so happy happy happy that Cakewalk by October Afternoon is here. I can’t get enough of OA papers and embellishments. (Complete list of supplies is below)

Mom’s craft room update. A week or so ago I mentioned I’m in the processes of setting up my mom’s craft room. We started on Monday by doing a little prep work in the room, Wednesday we painted, last night Scott went and picked up a few things we needed and tonight we’re going to start the setup. I’m so excited for my mom. Here is a picture of her room before (more pics to come soon). This was one of my sisters rooms and she went a little paint happy, totally love my sister, but please never let her near a paint brush….She used a glossy paint over a satin paint and all those layers started to peel so we had to peel the whole room.

Today I have a Project Life update for you (video below) Weeks 19-20 🙂
I was about 4 weeks behind on Project Life but this weekend I was able to get two weeks done so I’m slowly getting caught up.

Studio Calico came out with these awesome stamps that I think are perfect for Project Life…Teri was inspired by them to make a Silhouette cut and has it available on her blog for free. Check it out HERE

Hi Everyone,
Tomorrow I’m spending a little time with my mom working on her craft room. She’s been crafting out of her kitchen and now that my younger sister has a place of her own mom is going to get a place of her own too. She’s super excited. Once I get to the painting part of the room mom is being kicked out and won’t be allowed back in until it’s complete. I can’t wait to do this for her…

WOW this week is going by so fast. I can’t believe it’s Thursday already, it feels like Wednesday (not that I’m complaining cause I’m happy it’s almost the weekend).

I have another Father’s Day card ready to share with you today. If you would like to see the other one I made this year CLICK HERE.

I love Lawn Fawn stamps. They are so cute and whimsical. For the DAD sentiment I used Quinn’s ABC’s and Stay Tuned for the radio and you rock. I also pulled out the cuttlebug and some Paper Trey Ink Mat Stack dies too. All this supplies used are listed below 🙂

For this card I even did the inside (didn’t take a picture but I just duplicated the layout from the front without the stamped image).

Hi Everyone…
WOW it’s feels like forever since I sat down and created a card just for fun 🙂 It was nice just sitting and playing.

I wanted to do something a little different this time for a background. I took two pieces of pattern paper from the Echo Park Sweet Days 6×6 paper pad and cut them down to 3-3/4″ x 5″. Drew a curved line across the middle and with the two pieces together I cut along the line. Once I added the zigzag sewing to connect the two sections I added a single stitch along the outside and mounted it on a 4×5-1/4″ piece of white card stock.

The button card is done with Paper Trey Inks Button Boutique stamp set and card die. I also used the Buttoned Up #2 die from PTI to make the buttons. Using my Cuttlebug I cut the button die 3 x’s and layered the cuts to get a chipboard look. For the finishing touch I added some bakers twine and seam binding to the card top.

I prefer to use the Project Life pages from Becky Higgins, but you may want to also look at the We R’ Memory Keepers pages, they have a nice variety as well.

You don’t have to wait to start Project Life at the beginning of the year. Start it now. It’s a great way to document life, everyday memories 🙂
