Hi Everyone,
As some of you already know I work at my local library. As a matter of fact this June I’ll be starting my 21 year. One of my favorite parts of my job is working on special projects. I’m currently co-chairing our annual fundraiser which is tons of work but oh so much fun. Anyway one of the things we do at the fundraiser is raffle off baskets. Last year I made a frame that I put into a basket with a few other crafty girls at the library. This year I’m doing a whole basket…
Here is what I worked on this weekend 🙂
The frame is from Michael’s and measure’s 12×12 (holds at 5×7 picture). I started off by painting it with Vintage White acrylic paint and then took a piece of burlap that I sprayed with glimmer mist and cut it to fit. The section for the picture was a little tricky. Added tons of I Am Roses flowers and then a little pearly bling from recollections.
This little oval box is from Joann’s. I did the same as above by painting it with acrylic paint, added burlap, flowers, and some dyed seam binding. Can’t forget the tea dyed tag 🙂
next up is a little picture frame jewelry box. I don’t remember the name of the site I got this from, but I decorated just like above….
And here is everything….
Very beautiful!I loved them all!
