Happy Monday,
Today’s project is a card organizer I made for my dad. Since dad is in a wheelchair he can’t get out and get cards for holidays and special occasions and he’s always asking me to make him cards that he can give to my mom. I thought I would make him a book that would hold a whole year’s worth of cards. Now I just need to make the cards 🙂
Enjoy today’s video:

This is the cutest project! Love it…thanks for all the detailed instructions! Just fabulous!
Love your little card organizer! What a great gift this would be for an older person who can't get out and about or someone in a nursing home/assisted living! Wish I had a Cinch or Bind-It-All!! Guess I could use mini rings to bind it.Thanks for sharing!
You're really kind. This book isvery beautiful, I love the colors. TFS
What a nice gift for you dad……I love it…..and I love the whole idea of this…..thank you for sharing…
Wonderful idea, would make a great gift for anyone with blank cards included, or addressed envelopes included for our son who just moved to Texas, so quick and easy to send cards to his family. Love it! Can see many applications.Thank you for sharing.
As I was watching this, I thought it would make a nice gift for a teacher with all her students birthdays listed on each page – and cards for boys and girls in each pocket – can't wait to do it. Thank you!!! My second thought was – it would be great for my husband, but then I would be making my own cards – hee!hee!
I've been making these style of card holders for quite some time. I like your idea of slicing a diagonal off the pocket–gets rid of some of the bulk. I also like your idea for storing envelopes–something I never did. These are great for gift giving loaded with homemade cards. On top of the pocket I attach what might you call a perpetual calendar I've created. One for each month with 28-31 lines for inserting a date to remember; i.e. birthday, anniversary, etc.
Love this idea. What a great project. Thanks for the detailed instructions on how to make this.

That's a great idea. Maybe that's what I should do just to keep organized myself.
I really love this project! I will definately have to make some of these!
Enjoyed your video, thanks for sharing how to make one of those card holders!!!Brenda W>
Love this! And the angled trim to access the card in the flap is so clever! TFSHelen — Firenze Cards
What a fantastic idea. You made it simple and it's definitely a project to remember. What a great daughter you are for both your parents. Bless you
WHat a great project! LOve it. Thought I would mention if you move the ruler of the cinch out 1/8″ (which is half the difference in the size of the covers) you can punch the holes of covers with the cinch and they will still line up with your pages.
This is such a cute idea, could be made girly also, but I just LOVE it. I really enjoy watching your videos, I learn so many things from you. Thanks for sharing. Sheri
The is the perfect gift for your Dad, I'm sure He will be so happy (and your Mom too) I hope you have a blessed day!HUgs, Carol L.

This is such a great idea! It turned out beautiful! I am going to make this in the future. Thanks for the inspiration!
My dad would love this! And Betsy's right, this would be a great gift for someone who can't get out much, like someone in a nursing home. It's nice to have something to remember fond memories by.
This would undoubtedly cheer up people in hospice services too. Thanks so much for sharing your ingenious idea!
