Monday? Already?
This past weekend I worked on making these paper pumpkins. I needed some fall decorations for work and came across these on Pinterest. I thought they would be perfect to put on some of the displays I’m setting up. I made 14 of these…..
They didn’t take long to make. I started them Friday night while I was watching TV. Last night I just had to add the stems, curls, bows and leaves. The purple ribbon is a little out there isn’t it? I made them in all shades of orange so I wanted to brighten them up a little.
Some of the pattern paper is from a Making Memories collection that came out a few years ago and others are from collections that came out last year. It was a great way to use up some papers the I normally wouldn’t have used…
Here’s a close up picture of the stem. I just rolled a piece of brown cardstock and then put little slits in the bottom to fan out the paper and give me something to glue it to the pumpkin. After the glue was dry I just twisted the cardstock, added the curlies, leaves and bow.
Here is a video I found on how to make these adorable paper pumpkins.
Have a great Monday.
Hugs and happy crafting
