Hi Everyone,
Here is a layout I worked on this past weekend. Still working on those 2010 photos little by little.
Today’s layout is of Ethan coloring Easter Eggs and instead of the traditional Easter title I went with Artist at work…
I cut “artist” from a Silhouette file and “at work” I cut from a font I had on my computer. Just can’t remember what the font name was??? I layered black and kraft card stock and then decided to use my UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel) to help the title pop off the page.
The tag that says April is from Happy Days collection by Simple Stories.
I really kept this one simple. It was looking a little blah so I added some stitching around outside area of the photo mat and around the whole page. Of course this was the time my sewing machine and I decided to have it out. I think the machine won! lol
Remember Monday I said I have plans for some more holiday decor. Here is a sneak peek at something I’m working on. If it turns out right it’s gonna be another project that can be changed out for different holidays.
I’ve been super busy at work the past two weeks and lots going on with the family. I hope to get back to Stampin’ on Friday videos soon. To be honest I needed the little rest.
Have a great Wednesday (wait…what? it’s Wednesday already? WooHoo)….
Hugs
Awesome layout!! Love the stitching around the entire page, the colors, the tiny clip on the journaling spot, and how you added the tiny attacher to the ribbons. The pictures are GREAT!!Oh sis, I can't wait to see your new home decor…..WOW I love it already – that crackle rocks!!Hugs, T
GREAT layout! I LOVE the UTEE on the title! That really does make it pop! And no way does it look like your sewing machine won! I have a love-hate relationship with my sewing machine, too ~ mostly hate! Thanks for sharingSusan
Love that super cute layout! I love the UTEE on the title, too! Very nice!Susan
Great LO. Love the simplicity of this and the title is perfect. 🙂
oh…and LOL about the sewing machine battle…that's why I rarely use it on layouts or cards because my machine ALWAYS wins!!!
Perfect layout. He's going to love this when he gets older. Lady, you deserve a rest. You can't keep up family, work and hobby on a daily basis. Something will lose and you don't want it to be family. You need to space out your days more.Good luck!
I just love your title. The words and the actual letters. They look like those really expensive stickers…I am super impressed you made them!Taratarashomemadehappiness.blogspot.com
super cool idea. how many layers of powder did you use? The letters look amazing!thanks,Lori
I love how the enamel really makes the letters stand out! TFS!
When I first saw the layout, I was thinking “how did she do that title?” Thanks for the info. Love the sneak peak. Can't wait to see the project.

Christina, What a wonderful layout!I'd like to note that your talent has evolved so much since I started following your blog and videos. The recent design sensibility reflected in your cards and layouts completely matches up to the design team pros from all the big companies! I can only hope to grow into that level of talent someday. Thanks for sharing your projects with us!-Cynthia

Wow, Christina – you are so impressive with your title, yet I see a throwback to crackle all in the same breath. I'm staying tuned.
