Hi Everyone
Well the results are in from the dentist. Out comes my wisdom tooth tomorrow morning. I’m not looking forward to it, but it’s better than constant pain….
Saturday I was getting caught up on my YouTube fav’s and Lawn Fawn (check out her stamps too, so cute) showed these molds she purchased to make her own embellies (like the ones Prima has out now) and I thought hmmm that looks fun…So I ordered from MoldMuse on Etsy and they came already. That was the fastest shipping I’ve ever seen 🙂
Ethan and I had fun playing with clay last night…

I usually film my two videos for the upcoming week over the weekend, but with my tooth I wasn’t really feeling up to making two. I may only have one for you this week. We’ll see how I feel later in the week.
Have a great day
Hugs and happy crafting,
I've been playing with poly clay a lot recently too. I've noticed a lot of people have been, guess it is the hive mind. . lol. . but I found the greatest thing to glaze the baked piece with. It makes them super shiny and it smells great. Pledge Wood floor finish with Future Shine. And it is soo cheap. Like 6.00 for 27 ounces.
Cool!! I wish I had some molds! Looks so beautiful!Good luck at the dentist. Praying for a quick recovery!LoveDutch TulipMarja
These are really neat. I bet Ethan had a blast playing too.Good Luck with your tooth. Heal quicklyHugs,Judy
awesome project i want to try it now!!!
Oh Christina – I can commiserate with you – I'm having 3 root tips taken out next Monday and right now it's a constant throbbing/pain – not like a real abscessed tooth but just enough to get in the way!!!! Here come the pain pills!! Good luck and hang in there!Don't worry about the videos – we'll wait until you feel better!jackie
I just posted on a polymer clay mold also….made a little face….easy…hope your tooth feels better after the dentist appt….there's nothing worse than a tooth ache…..
So sorry that you are in pain. Will be thinking of you. My husband just came into my hobby room and I told him that I was writing you because you were going to have your wisdom tooth taken out. He said,”Tell her that I hope that she does not lose any of her wisdom when they pull the tooth. They have to plug the hole in a hurry or wisdom leaks out.” Of course he is just being funny. Have liquid things to drink and then soft foods. I have had all four of mine taken out. NO fun but I made it and I still have a little wisdom left. 🙂 Take care my crafty friend.Tell Ethan that I don't like real snakes or worms BUT that his are very colorful. I'm glad that his snakes don't bite. 🙂
oh Cristina this looks like such a fun project.
This is a great idea to save money and have great flowers too! I will have to look into this! Wishing you a easy and relatively pain free wisdom tooth extraction! I had all of mine surgically removed years ago when I was in college…they were all impacted…no space to grow out…and it was not a fun time…but the pain wasn't too bad at all! Since I was not put to sleep, the worst part was the pressure from tugging and hearing the crunch when a tooth broke while they were pulling!
This is one of the many reasons why I love your blog…I have been wanting to make my own cameos and with your info I found the cameo mold on her site. Thanks so much for posting this, your awesome!!! Sorry to hear about the wisdom tooth, I had 3 of mine removed about 4 years ago…you will feel so much better when you have yours removed…wishing you a speedy recovery!!!Lori 🙂
Oh, these embellies look wonderful! The snakes and worms would be a huge hit at my house! 🙂 Sorry about your tooth…hope you feel better real soon!~Sharon C.
Oh my Christina, I'm sorry to hear about your tooth pain. I think there's no worse pain. I'll say a prayer for you. Be well my friend.Hugs, Jessica
Cute project! Can't wait to see a video on this process! Maybe I can even do something like this!Hope everything goes well for you tomorrow!
GORGEOUS!! I will have to try this sis – thanks for the heads up. It looks really fun. I wonder if you can paint these with acrylic paint and then clear coat them??? xoxo, T
Donna Kato is the queen of polymer clay, if anyone wants to check her out on the net. I remember her from years ago with Carol Duvalle on TV. Christina, you never cease to amaze me on how much crafting is in your blood.Hope your mouth feels better.
I love these!
Awesome flowers!! I LOVE polymer clay!! Good luck at the dentist
Your flowers turned out so pretty. Just like the Primas. Ethan's snakes and worm are great too.
I recently got some “Amazing Mold Putty” and love it. With this stuff you can make a mold of just about anything you want. I have made a mold of a ribbon rose and it worked great. Check out this video about using it. http://craftygoat.com/2008/01/video_how_to_make_button_molds.htmlIt's pretty cool stuff.
Wow, I never even thought of using polymer clay on scrappin type projects. I already have all the clay and molds!! You always seem to enlighten me! Now my mind is racing, you can make anything exactly match your project. I just had my first wisdom tooth pulled after cracking it on , of all things: Broccoli! Any on my birthday too! I was dying of the pain. Good luck, I hope you have dental and can be put to sleep, not that it hurts but the noise in your head is crazy!! 🙂 Thinking of you, Sheri
Christina your projects and Ethan's little earth creatures came out soo cute!!! I myself have worked with polymer clay several times and have made some beautiful creations and Its amazing how we can take that next step and incorporate it into our card making and scrapbooking layouts. Beautiful job!I hope your not in too much pain tomorrow and I hope you recover quick!!!
SWEET!! Can't wait to see what you do with these cute embellies! Hope you feel better soon!
Good luck with the dentist! I would love to see a video on how you make the molded flowers…I saw them on Lawn Fawn as well and they look so cute!
Dentistry has come a long way and I'm sure you will do just fine. It will be nice to have that “bad” tooth out of your mouth. Those flowers are beautiful. It does not seem possible that you could make them at home. Wow.
You poor thing!! I am so sorry about your tooth. It is better to just take it out. I hope you will be sound asleep for the whole thing. Take care, Sandy C.
Love the embellies you made. so neat. Sorry to hear about your tooth.. I would rather go to the gyn doctor than the dentists.
Hope you're feeling better soon. On the positive side, it might be great for weight loss not eating for a few days. I remember playing with clay when my kids were little. Always great fun.Barb from Toronto
The flowers are beautiful! And as for the wisdom teeth, I had all 4 pulled at the same time and it really wasn't that bad! Hope you get the same results!!
Good luck with your chompers!kristyscraps@sbcglobal.net
I'm late so by the time you read my comment it will all be over, hope it went well and that your pain is subsiding.
Hang in with the dentist. Your pain will be over soon.Polymer clay is fun to play with. You can get mole making material form Michael's and old old buttons you might have to make some nice embellishments.
Good Luck! I still have 3 of mine and all impacted I am dreading getting them taken out. After 4 c sections you would think it's a walk in the park but not for mr 🙁 I scream just getting my teeth cleaned. LOL
These are very lovely. I hope you feel better soon. Those wisdom tooth can be killer sometimes. I did all 4 of mine at once…but I'm glad I did. Take care, Smooches… frankleecrafts@gmail.com
Love the pretties you made and of course Ethan's boy things are so colorful. Good luck with the tooth extraction. Not fun, but better than the pain. I have to get up the courage to call the dentist for an appointment and not looking forward to her diagnosis. I was born a dentist chicken! Heal in a hurry dear lady.Hugs,MizMaryAnn
Can I just say, my husband is probably not too happy right now since I found something else to buy. I love 90% of the molds at this Etsy store. I love poly-clay and I think the molds would work for UTEE and Perfect Pearls. I can see jewlery and embellishments for all sorts of things.
Your flowers turned out great! Tfs that great idea! I love ur blog!Esigmon at cox dot net
Those flowers are so cute. The best part is that you can make them in whatever color you want. I will definitely be ordering the molds and ry making them. Can you let us know what clay you used and can they bake in your regular toaster oven if not where did you purchase your oven? Thanks for sharing.
That really looks like fun- I hope you feel better soon. I've been fighting the flu for a couple of weeks now. I love Ethan's snakes he did a great job.Have a great dayhttp:dianamlarson.blogspot.com
