Hi Everyone,
Thought I would share a few things today…
1. As you know I posted yesterday that my craft room is a work in progress. Thought I would share a few before pictures…I’ll share after pictures when I’m officially done with my room…
2. Gypsy Update. There is an update for the Gypsy. This update is pretty big and includes a new app for the Imagine, I haven’t updated mine yet. Use the Cricut Synch software to update and then you can link your cartridges…
3. For those that have the Imagine I would love to hear your thoughts? Do you like it? I’m still holding off and getting the Cricut2 but I might someday consider it.
4. What do you think for March we do a mini album series with the Cricut and Gypsy instead of a cartridge series. I really want to make a mini with the Blast off! Bo Bunny collection of Ethan when he was a baby? What do you guys think?
OK off to work, it’s a long day for me today. Enjoy and Happy Crafting!

I have an Imagine and I do like it. However, I really wish I would have known about this new machine that is coming out in April but I would personally wait until it comes with Wi-Fi. I am actually going to fire up my Imagine today and print out 75 baby announcements for a friend.Honestly, I would have bought the Imagine if I would have know about this new machine=/Love your videos!!Take care,CoriP.S. Oops! posted under my husband's email!
I whould love to see a series on a mini album.Love your videos keep them coming. thank you Lindab top2kop@hotmail.com
I love my Imagine,I have done the Gypsy/Imagine updated and everything is now on my Gypsy, loving it more :)By the time the E2 arrives the wifi wont be available but the Imagine will get the same wifi when it comes out, Just thought you should have all the information before you decide :)HugsAdele
i love all your videos, but i don't have a gypsy, so i will watch them anyways but i can't do it with the gypsy, I don't know how you can stand that thing, it's so tiny, I'd never see the screen. Alas, you are a lot younger than I š I can't believe you are redoing your craftroom again, its so awesome the way it is, but can't wait to see what you do with it.
Hello,ohh yes, yes a nice idea i would love a mini album serie!!!!Thanks a lot for showing.Greets
i understand what you are going through with changing your room, because i am doing the same thing, and it is driving me CRAZY, lol, nevertheless, i would love to see a mini album series, can't wait to see what you come up with.
Imagine is cool, but the ink for it is expensive. It's cheaper to just use expression and color things in yourself with Copics and such. Im also planning to redo my craft space. Reorganizing, and getting a bigger desk are soo on my list!
I purchased the imagine and had it for several days but went back. It is cheaper to buy the images than to purchase ink whenever the machine ran out. The gypsy I am not a fan of. I have taken several classes for it but can't seem to like it. It just sits on a shelf in my craft room. I would love to see a mini album video. I have wanted to make one for so long but have not yet been inspired. Can't wait to see your new and improved room. I have seen your room getting redone over and over again. And have enjoyed everyone of them and get inspired to do something to mine also. I do have a very neat room and very organized but there is always something to do.
I didn't get the imagine either. I'm holding out for the Cricut2, already have my pennies all saved up! I would love to see a gypsy/cricut mini album series. I know it would help me and I'm sure everyone feels the same way. Thanks for all the inspiration and instruction you give us. hugs, eileen
I don't have an imagine, I wouldn't buy it because of the ink! However I love all the projects created from it. I do have a friend who said it was a big paper weight!
An album would be great, I don't have an Imagine, only small personal cricut. But I definitely want a bigger one, I am gonna research all the bigger ones to see what will fit my needs best.Cathymexicopetshop@hotmail.com
OHHH. would love to see a mini album, I don't have a boy but I do find it hard to find boyish pattern paper, no selection at all!!! I am also thinking of getting a gypsy!! I was a little intimidated at first but the welding part has sold me!!! Lori š
I love all of your videos and all of your series. ini-albums are always great!!!
I absolutely love mini albums and look forward to more!!
Yes, definitely do the mini album!! I've been considering buying that paper myself and I'm looking for inspiration. LOVE your videos!
I don't have the imagine either, but I want to hold off until a later update with the cricut2. Mini Albums would be super. I definitely need to try this. You're a GREAT Teacher and I Learn A LOT from your videos. Smooches… scrapperinthemaking.blogspot.com
Good Luck on the your re-organization. I've started mine since President's Day with some time off here and there…lol. Almost done though.
I love your idea of the mini album series. I love making mini albums.
Good luck with your craft room makeover. Can't wait to see the results. I would love to participate in making a mini using both the cricut and gypsy.
54 working days until retirement!!but hey, who's counting right. Then, reorg of “women's room” dubbed 'the woom' by my grown children. Love your ideas for working spaces. Really want to do a mini album, will be watching.
I'm always looking for ideas for mini albums, so go for it:)Roxannaroxxscott at gmail dot com
I really adore the Imagine and suggest you invest in it verses the C2. Now that I can use my G (after I update) even better. I love the new mats on both my Cricut's. The Imagine cuts smoother and the quality of the print is amazing. The possibilities are really endless.I am working on a mini now for my new neice, Ella so yea for mini albums!
I love the mini album gypsy idea. I just got a gypsy for my B-day and am still learning all it can do.
Love the idea of a mini album series!! Can't wait!!I have the imagine and the more I use it, the more I'm loving it. I only have the original create and the gypsy. I LOVE my gypsy! I truly believe that for the gypsy, you have to use it to learn what all you can do with it. Yes, I would love a larger screen. But the gypsy has definitely taken my cricut crafting to a whole new level of crafting. As for the imagine–not sure what to tell you. I like how if I want to make 35 of something, I can have them all coordinate without worrying about running out of a particular type of specialty designer paper. I am a paper diva–so I'm still buying lots of paper….The other thing I've noticed is that the Imagine seems to cut just a little more intricately or crisper than the create. I've read others commenting the same thing with regards to the expression and the Imagine so I am guessing it has something to do with the firmer mat and internal mechanism. My imagine was a Christmas present, otherwise, I would be in your same shoes. I guess, I would wait until the 'craft room' becomes available in the meantime, really analyze all the pros and cons.
I would love to see a series on Mini albums. You do a great job on them and I loved the ones you have done in the past. The Bo/bunny papers you showed yesterday were just wonderful and I would like to see how you use them.
I adore mini albums so I'm all for it!

Hi Christina! I don't have the Imagine and Have thought about getting it to but the Ink alone is what's stopping me…. I just can't get over the 3in1 ink cartridge that Provo Craft decided to go with… More and more Printers are changing over to the individual ink cartridges (which would be cheaper)in the long run and that's pretty much what is stopping me from getting it… I have however used the Imagine Cutting mats… They are OK (IMO)… The adhesive is not super sticky like the reg. mats which is nice but I've noticed from using them to is that they wear out quicker…. at least they have for me…. I'm planning on getting the Cricut2 Machine….I've been selling my cards like crazy to make enough money to get it… I'm soooo excited to have that machine… It comes out around my Birthday so it's my gift to ME! :o) Good Luck with the cleaning/organizing…. I do mine every 3 months because when you get new/more stuff you want to find a good place to store it…. :o) Thanks for all you do and I look forward to seeing your Mini Album Series… Heck I LOVE any of your series… Tehehehe
I have the Baby Bug and the Expression and love them. My Design Studio does everything else I need so won't be investing in the Imagine or Gypsy. I love everything you do and enjoy watching your videos, so bring on whatever you decide to create next.Mary Ann
I have heard to many people complaining about the I. Alot of them are on their 4th or fifth I because of all the problems. The big update is not out yet. As for the Cricut2 I would wait untill all the bugs are worked out on it. MTC came up with a print and cut program of their own and you use your own printer. Much cheaper.
I would love a mini album series. I am working on an album for my daughter and cant find the motivation I need to finish it. Maybe seeing yours will help.
Christina,I would love a series on a mini album, I just hope I have the cartridge your going to use :)I don't have the Imagine, but I thought about getting it so hard, still thinking about it. Right now, I know I am getting the E2 in April.HugsStacy
I don't think I would care for the “I” either… don't know a lot about the E2. I'm saving my $ for a very much needed laser printer someday .
I love the idea of a mini book – I'm just now getting into those and love all the advice I can get on them!
mini with cricut pleasefergie
Thanks for the update! My area is in constant re-org mode. I wish I could find the ultimate solution to paper storage and ease of access. Curious to see how you finalize your paper storage. I don't have the imagine (yet) but I saw that Cricut.com has it for 299.00. i do have the Gypsy and love it! I was a little intimidated but I started to watch videos on how to use it. Btw, that is when I became a blogger. I truly think the gypsy is worth it especially since the price has come down so much. I would love to see a series on a mini album. I have a bia and have not used it much. Thanks for alwaus sharing with us Christina!
Hi Christina, organizing again huh? Looking forward to seeing it complete š I don't have an imagine and really don't have any interest in getting one. I do however wish the cartridges would work with the Expression. I love my Expression and my Gypsy. I don't see having a need for every new machine that comes out.
Hi Christina,I can't wait to see your “new” room!!! :)I'm curious about the Expression 2, too. I'm just wondering if the Imagine would better compliment our current Expressions. Don't get me wrong! I love the fact that we can change the color of it to match our craft rooms and the larger (color!) lcd looks nice! If only I didn't already have an Expression (that's only been used a few times, because I got it right before our move & it's been boxed up more than not). Looking forward to seeing how you like yours! Thanks so much,Jenniferpartridgelu at yahoo dot com
Can't wait to see your room when you are done. I also am happy to see you aren't getting the Imagine as I am boycotting it. Only because it seems to me, all we do is buy more stuff, learn how to use it and then new stuff comes out and the cycle keeps going. However, in the process, we are not getting any scrapping done. I wonder if I am the only one thinking this.
I love my gypsy…..use it all the time…..as for as the imagine ..I won't be getting….I buy way to much ink for my printer and really couldn't afford to buy it too….thank you for telling me about the update too….I vote for the mini…..I just love your mini……tfs
Love to see the video/tutorial on the mini-albums. I don't have an Imagine, but I do enjoy using my Gypsy which just came for Christmas. I'm not planning on buying C2, at least not at this time. I'm wondering if I have to do this current update, since I'm not linking any imagine carts, or using the machine. BethAnn M.
Hey Cristina, I don't have an imagine, and don't really want one. I'm happy with my cricky! I have a question about the Gypsy update… since I don't have an imagine, do I still need the update? I just got it about 2 weeks ago, so I'm not sure I need an update already. Good luck with the redo of the room. I'd love some of those cubes… I think, but I don't have lots of room. Thanks a bunch!Jessica
I'm so glad you don't think you need an Imagine. I don't think that I need one either! I won't be buying another machine unless something happens to the Expression that I have. I love it and it was a big investment for me. I don't want to print paper! I want to cut the paper that I have and I have a ton of it. Plus, I have looked at the imagine cartridges and so far I like the origianl cartridges better!I don't have a Gypsy, I have Design Studio and I bought it because everyone online was coming up with cute cards using Design Studio. So I bought Ds and some of the carts that everyone was using with it and most people quit using their DS and bought Gypsies and SCAL and then Make the Cut! I refuse to buy a Gypsy, I can't see things on it well enough. So far I am refusing those third party software programs also because I am satisfied with DS.Guess I should get off my soapbox and give someone else a chance. Thanks for listening.
Love the idea of mini albums. I have only made one before and it took me a long time. I love any time you use the gypsy to do projects. I can't cut anything without mine because it shows me exactly what size paper I need without wasting paper. Can't wait to see your completed scrap room. Looks good so far.
I'm always torn whether I should combine all my DCWV Stacks by color choice … So far they are all still in the pads from my scrapping days as I have matching smaller pads and borders for them. Now that I'm in a card phase, I can never decide if I should just rip them apart so I can go to the Green section or the Red section. I wouldn't even know where to begin with the patterned paper, but something where holidays are together would be nice. anyways… Go Christina go!
I don't have a Gypsy but I would still watch any video you do. I love your work and you inspire me so. I have the Baby Bug and the E. I like what I have seen of the E2. I am really more excited about the Craft Room program that is supossed to be coming out. I have Ds but still have some difficulty with it but it gets better each time I do something on it.
Mini album series sounds great my one big question where do you find the time to do all that do for us??? Just glad you have it to spare to inspire us al. thanks hope the craft room redo goes well. Karen
I don't have either the imagine or the gypsy so not really able to comment. But would love a gypsy so if you want to give one away (to me) I would be eternally grateful. Do you have a cinch bindery tool? Have you done any videos with that? Am thinking about getting one but haven't seen any reviews or videos except by the manufacturer.
I would love to see a gypsy and cricut mini album series. I would love if you could explain your process as to how you choose your papers and embellishments when you do a mini album. I have such a hard time putting it all together. Thanks for all of your great videos!!
I would love to see you use your gypsy for the mini. I love my gypsy and cricut and just don't see the need for more because I have cartridges on my gypsy that I haven't used yet. I am really trying to use what I have before I buy more. It is so hard. I want a bunch from PTI. I don't have anything from them yet but I have to use what I have first. Can you tell I have to say it over and over to stay on track. LOLI like all your videos. Do what you want then it will be even better.
Love your craft room. Wish I had one. As for the Imagine, I have had mine since Christmas and love it.
I've held off on buying the Imagine, too. I've seen some cute projects but sometimes the colors that I've seen printed just don't appeal to me. And I just am not interested in dealing with inks or the cost of the inks! I prefer using preprinted paper with textures, glitter, etc in my Expression. I have a Gypsy and love it…you've taught me lots of good tips, Christina! Thanks!
Decided not to buy an Imagine because of the ink cart. cost. It turns out to be about $1.00 per page and I can get great paper at Michael's and JoAnn's on sale for 5/$1.00. That is a huge difference. The carts with images are really expensive, too. Am really happy with the Expression and the Gypsy.patpionkeathotmaildotcom
I think the series is such a great idea ! I'm certainly looking forward to it.Evelyn
I have the imagine, and the more I use it I love it!!! It is like having a scrapbook store for paper in your house. When I am doing a project, and I don't know or have a type of pattern paper I am looking for I make it on the Imagine. I also love how fast it is to make a project!!
Hi Christina, I have the imagine and I love it. I heard a ton of negative reviews about the machine not being able to be collaborated correctly and what not, but I have not had any of the problems. My Imagine works great. I love that I can make my own custom paper and that is something I think you would love the most because you really love making your cards. Having an eye for polka dots and stripes and mixing it with your favorite colors will keep you having fun for hours i'm sure LOL …. I guess the best advice I have is to see if you can play around with an imagine before you purchase one to see if it's something you like. I'm only 2 hours away so you can come play with mine anytime!!!! As for the mini series, I'm down for anything. I love your videos!
Come help me get mine in order!! LOL Mine has been a work in progress for about 3 years. ha. I need major organization skills š
