Hi Everyone,
Well I thought I would have a picture of a project for you today, but you know how it goes around the holidays. I’m scrambling to get stuff done and this past weekend when normally I would work on a project or two, I baked cookies with Ethan…Sunday I shared a recipe HERE
Here’s another yummy cookie recipe for those chocolate lovers….
Ingredients:
2 cups chocolate morsels
1-1/2 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
6 tbls butter
1-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Microwave 1 cup chocolate chips for 1 minutes, stir and microwave 20 seconds; stir (repeat 20 seconds/stir until smooth).
Combine flour, baking powder, salt in small bowl
Beat sugar, butter, and vanilla in large bowl until crumbly
Beat in melted chocolate, add eggs 1 at a time.
Gradually add flour and stir in remaining morsels.
Cover and chill until firm
Roll into balls and roll in powdered sugar
and here are a few pictures of our baking extravaganza this past weekend….

Oh these looks so good….will have to try them….I'm always looking for easy and delicious cookies recipe….thank you for sharing….”Merry Christmas”….
Thanks for the recipe. I always love tried and true recipes. I will be eager to try them.
This is what you are SUPPOSED to do at Christmas….be with your family, do things with your family, enjoy your family! Memories being made today will stay with them for a lifetime. I know…I have kids probably older then you, who are carrying out our traditions with their kids. My daughter just posted an ornament that we painted in 1973 and is one of “those favorite that go on the front of the tree!” My nieces & nephews have theirs too and do the same thing. So….make memories, lots of them.Judiejudie@gmail.com
My first thought was, what's with all the recipes and then I saw your little guy helping out. Now that's pretty sweet. I love those family traditions.
Yummo. I will be baking on Friday! Your son is super cute, he looks sooo much like you. Does everyone tell you that?Stephanie
