It’s Wednesday 🙂 WOW this week is zooming by and tomorrow is already July. Before we know it it’ll be Christmas….
Archives for June 2010
Today I thought I would show you the 3D Sizzix flower. So cool and easy to make…..
Here is a video on how to make them using a quilling tool. Have fun.
I purchase mine from Ebay…so check that out too…
My project this weekend was this desk organizer. I found it at AcMoore in the wood section a few weeks ago…I need something by my computer to hold pens and notebooks and other little office stuff that I seem to keep misplacing on my desk.
First I white washed it with white acrylic paint and water. After that I covered it with Pink Paislee’s Queen Bee collection. I love darker colors…more rustic looking….
I hope you are all having a great weekend. Yesterday I decided to sit and play with my Cindy Lo Cricut Cartridge. I’ve had it for a while now and never played with it.
I used my Gypsy to layout the design for this card. I love my Gypsy, even more now that they have the hide contour feature….I’m thinking I might ever go ahead and make a birdhouse shaped card too.
We all need a little fun in the sun, don’t we?
Here is today’s video featuring The Cutting Cafe file “Summer fun”
Since I had the day off today to recoup from having two of my wisdom teeth pulled, I got a little craft time in.
I made this canvas as a gift…
Just a quick update and maybe a finished project later today.
Sorry I know I haven’t posted since Sunday….I had some personal stuff going on the beginning half of this week and just wasn’t much up to crafting…All is well now….
A few weeks ago I did a tutorial on how to make flowers with distress inks and glimmer mist…If you missed it…check it out HERE…you can see all of my flower tutorials under “Video Series” located up top on the navigation bar…
I had tons of emails on where to find the pearls that I used….They are from Walmart. My friend Teri is the one who turned me on to these beads and I just love them. You can find them in the beading craft section. They are a little expensive, but you get tons. As a matter of fact I gave 1/2 the container to my mom when I got them and I still have some left.
Here is a picture of the beads so you know what to look for… I’ve used them on flowers, stick pins, and even made some dangly beady things for my mini albums….
Have a great day and hopefully I’ll be back later tonight with a finished project…Hugs
Playing with some of my new goodies. I’m not a Copic expert, but I love playing with them. There is a possibility of a Copic Certification class coming to my area in October. That would be fun…
Here is a video on my take on coloring with Copic markers. Don’t ya just love my pretty little Rosalie that I purchased from 7 Kids College Fund.
and here is a video on how I assembled this tag….
