Archives for February 2009

I really did not get to work on any projects last night. We were celebrating Ethan’s birthday. Tonight is his big family party.
Here’s a picture of a project from some time ago.

Happy Friday

Video-Scallop Bag

February 26, 2009

Happy Birthday to my little buddy. Today is my son’s 7th Birthday. I can’t believe how time flies. It feels like yesterday I was changing diapers, cleaning up spit-up, and waiting for those teeth to come in. Now I’m cleaning up toys, begging him to get off the computer and watching his teeth fall out. hehe.

Yesterday’s post was a little sneak peek to today’s video. Hope you enjoy. Only 1 more day til Friday. Yeah!

You quack me up!

February 25, 2009

I just love this little duckie. I’ve been busy getting ready for our son’s 7th Birthday. We have a class party tonight for one of his friends, a mini family party for my son tomorrow night, and a big family party Friday night. He so excited he was up at 6am this morning.

A new video should be up either later today or tomorrow.
I’m off to work. Have a great day.

Video-Shrinky Dink Technique

February 17, 2009

Remember doing Shrinky Dink’s as a kid?I do and I remember sitting on the floor in front of the oven watching them curl up.

Today’s video is how to make shrinky dinks work with rubber stamping . These cute little charms can be added to your cards or scrapbook pages.

I found shrink film at AcMoore and thought why not. Lot’s of fun.

Enjoy today’s video and stay tuned for a card made with one of these cute charms.

Also remember to watch in high quality, it really makes a difference

Video-Sizzix Birds in Bloom

February 15, 2009

I’ve been having such trouble with video the past few days. Tried HD sent it back, tried another HD, returned that. Last night my husband said, “why don’t you try the regular camcorder” and it worked great. Check out my latest video. Make sure to click on watch in high quality it is so much better. Like I said I got the video to look good, but now the volume isn’t loud enough. Need a new Microphone.
This card would be great as a wedding, birthday, or a shower card.

I used the Birds in Bloom Sizzix die, whisper white cardstock. blush blossom cardstock, designer paper from the sale-a-bration catalog, whisper white organza ribbon and the scallop edge punch.

Oh Boy!

February 12, 2009

Well yesterday I posted about how I love my new Flip Mino HD. Guess What? it’s going back. My first video which is on You Tube but not on my blog. I hate the quality. I always include at the beginning of my videos a picture of my finished project and you can see how nice and red the color of the pattern paper is. Once the video starts the color are faded. I worked all night last night trying to make the Flip work and the colors are just too washed out. I tried.

It might be a few days until I post another video. I have another camcorder in mind and will see if I can get it locally. If so another video should be up before the end of the weekend. If I have to order online it might be a little while.

Well anyway here is today’s project and as always you can order 24/7 on my website. (Posted on the left hand side). If you are interested in becoming a Demonstrator please feel free to contact me. I may have a little surprise for you if you do.

Supplies all products (c) Stampin’ Up!
Fun Flower Stamp (item # 114488) This is one of the brand new stamps located in the back of the catalog for under $10.
Sizzix Big Box #2 Die (item # 114518)
Parisian Breeze Specialty Paper (item # 113993)
Whisper White Cardstock
Baja Breeze Cardstock
Baja Breeze Ink Pad
